This week Bernie sits down with independent artist Humza Sohail. Humza is a filmmaker, actor, and comedian living in Brooklyn, NY. They discuss his early exposure into comedy, how he got into filmmaking, and moving to a new city in the middle of a pandemic. Roy talks about his amazing career, beginning with his roles as a professional waterskier and human cannonball, his work with Disney, and then making his way into live music with the likes of Elvis, Kenny Rogers, Kiss, Reba McEntire, and more. In early 2020, Will and Logan used IG and Tiktok to unleash a series of viral videos of them playing venues like backyards and wrecking yards, quickly catching the attention of thousands of followers (including Skrillex, and Fred Durst). Soon, producer Jaquire King (Buddy Guy, Kings of Leon, Tom Waits) threw them into a studio, and before long, their debut album was released on all streaming platforms. They have recently announced a tour with The Bronx and Drug Church but they took a little time to chat with me about how it all started and where it’s going.
