Physical exercise is great not only for keeping your body healthy but also your mind and it can be incorporated into spiritual health too. Exercise can help with memory and cognitive health, sleep quality, immune function, cancer prevention, blood pressure regulation and is as effective at dealing with depression as anti-depressant tablets and drugs. But here’s some worrying facts: Two thirds of Americans are overweight. Clinical forecasts suggests that by 2030 over half the population will be obese. I’ve been exercising (running) consistently for 17 years - pretty much injury free. I’ve done 50 endurance races including 12 marathons, 1 ultra marathon and 3 triathlons. I’ve also seen many people burn out and get injured and disillusioned.
