In this episode, Brandy shares how these symptoms were connected to long-standing emotional patterns involving feeling unloved, unimportant, and disconnected—patterns that had originated early in life and were still subtly influencing how Virginia perceived herself and her relationships, even in situations where she was deeply loved and supported. As Brandy began working with Jane, a deeply emotional and counterintuitive pattern came into focus: a long-held feeling that as Jane grew, became independent, and moved forward in life, she lost love—especially from her mother.
