'Spirits with Spirits' The King's Head Pub - Open Ghost Mic Edition-  Episode 208

Back with our Part 2 for'Spirits with Spirits' series at the infamous King's Head Pub located at 120 King St., Winnipeg, MB. 

Joined by Ashley and Kelly from The Winnipeg Paranormal Group, we had an amazing crowd for about 30 people come out and join us! HUGE SHOUT OUT AND THANK YOU TO THE KING'S HEAD PUB!!!

In the 2nd Hour of 'Spirits with Spirits' we were fortunate to have 6 people come up to the open mic segment and share their experiences with the paranormal - including:

• Ghosts of Headingley Jail
• Trent UniversityTop Hat Ghost reflected off a mirrored building
• UFO Sightings in the Beausejour, MB area
• Haunted home in Transcona, formerly a Doctor's office over 100 years old
• Attachments
• A Dad watching over his family and Daughter in the afterlife and sending signs <3

'Spirits with Spirits' The King's Head Pub - Episode 207

Last month we had the honour to bring our 'Spirits with Spirits' series to the infamous King's Head Pub located at 120 King St., Winnipeg, MB. 

Joined by Ashley and Kelly from The Winnipeg Paranormal Group, we had an amazing crowd for about 30 people come out and join us! We discussed the history of the building at 120 King St. now known as King's Head Pub since the late 1980s, however the bulding itself has been around since 1896! There has been one known death in the building, a homeless person by the name of Garry. 

There have been reports of a 'Basement' ghost and a ghost on the 3rd floor.......where we were holding the event! However, nothing appeared to have been recorded or seen/felt that night. However, Jas did hear a suspicious sound on the stage behind her and someone in the audience later said around that same time, they saw the curtain move......curious ghost?

Spirits with Spirits - A Night with Chris Rutkowski - Part 1

Well, there is more to the paranormal than ghosts....how do you feel about aliens? UFOs? we had the honour of having Chris Rutkowski come out to discuss with us his stunning career, resaerch and everything UFO August 29 during our monthly 'Spirits with Spirits'. 

Chris answered questions from the audience and we are pleased to say that 82 of you made it out this time - love it when like minded individuals come out, very cool. Chris discussed the Falcon Lake indicent, the Ghost Lights of Woodridge and his interest in Bigfoot. As well as th 11 books he had published over the year.

Ramblesode Cemetery Superstitions
On this week’s episode Jas and Sher, Your Audio Curators, tackle one of their favorite subjects: Superstitions…..not just the regular type, but Cemetery Superstitions and every kinda superstition related to the beliefs of what you do when someone dies: from the time they depart, to when they are burred in their final resting place.

Just like with any superstition, we critique the credibility and reasoning on some of them, but just like with any superstition you always have to take it with a grain of salt….and of course if you spill the salt, proceed to toss it over your shoulder, cause, you know why….

Spirits in Northern Manitoba

This week Jas and Sher, you Audio Curators, go North….waaaaay North in our glorious Province to discuss an urban legend handed down from generation to generation.

Its concerns a young couple in love who plan on making their house a home and filling it dozens of children, however as fate would have it, those plans dissolved after the death of their 1 year old baby.

Sorrow and grief has a way to stop time and in turn, when your home becomes your safe refuge, your energy will return ….even after death.

This week’s episode is a quickie as we focus on the amazing book called Prairie Ghosts – True Manitoba Ghost Stories written by Lois Frosberg from 1992. It is an amazing collection and we are grateful to have found this wonderful gem!

During this episode we also brought back a favorite – The magnetic Sphere of Fortune – to ask the spirits some insightful questions (all depend on how you look at it I guess) we did a ‘Facebook Live’ session while we ask the questions, and frankly were a little freaked out by the answers.

Creepy Falcon Lake Grandpa Ghost

It seems like Lockdown even has the spirits a little agitated. Nothing like walking through black mist, hearing your flip flop slippers taking a walk and watching a disembodied hand press the elevator buttons.
