Stop Waiting for “Maybe” — It Means No | Rick Jordan13 Nov 202500:07:24

Have you ever noticed how many people say “maybe,” “let me think about it,” or “I’ll get back to you”? Yeah—that’s a no. In this episode, I’m going all in on a rule that’ll change how you approach sales, business, and even relationships: anything other than a yes is a no. This one mindset shift will save you time, energy, and frustration—because clarity drives success. I break down how to spot hidden “no’s,” how to turn objections into conversations that loop toward the close, and how to keep control of your communication. Whether you’re a salesperson, a leader, or just someone trying to stop chasing half-answers, this one’s going to hit home. Stop leaving doors cracked open. Learn to hear the truth in every conversation—and close with confidence.

Whole-Ass Every Venture | Brian Decker11 Nov 202500:24:30

I’ve seen the term “serial entrepreneur” thrown around a lot—but today’s guest, Brian Decker, is the real deal. From mortgage banking to real estate, cryptocurrency, and now AI-driven solar energy, Brian has built, scaled, and sustained multiple companies across economic cycles. In this conversation, we go deep on what being a true serial entrepreneur actually means—not half-assing twenty things, but whole-assing one thing at a time until you’ve built a foundation solid enough to expand.

Brian breaks down the mindset of doubling down when everyone else is running scared, how to recognize patterns in economic cycles, and why the key to real wealth is creating recurring, scalable systems instead of being your company’s best employee. We also dig into leadership, delegation, and how to build a business that can outlast you — one that runs without your name being on every single deal.

Trauma Isn’t a Badge of Honor | Rick Jordan09 Oct 202500:12:00

We’ve all experienced it in some way. Maybe it’s something that happened once and hit you deep, or maybe it was a pattern that played out over time. Either way, trauma shapes how we see the world. But here’s the deal—it’s not supposed to define who we are forever. Somewhere along the line, “trauma” became a buzzword. It turned into something people wear like a badge instead of something they actually work to heal. So, I’m calling this out today. If you’re aware of your trauma but keep using it as an excuse, stop talking about it and start doing something about it. Awareness is powerful, but it’s only the first step. The real transformation happens when you put in the work to change how you think, how you react, and how you show up in life. That’s when people start noticing something different about you—because healing is magnetic. Let’s talk about how to move from victim to victor and take your power back.

About Annie:  After building three 7-figure businesses with her Navy SEAL former husband and business partner, Annie Yatch and her team now focus their training on communication, feedback systems, and accountability processes that create the most sustainable fulfillment and success for all. Her work moves companies, entrepreneurs, individuals, and teams to uncover the experience they want out of life and business, as well as the truth about why they haven’t been able to access that fulfilling experience yet. As an entrepreneur for the last 12 years and a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and Georgetown’s Masters Program in International Security and Counterterrorism, Annie set out in the world to keep those she loved safe, but found a deeper passion and undeniable skill in helping entrepreneurs identify the subconscious lies that hold them back in all areas of life—especially when those entrepreneurs also happen to be women. With hundreds of companies and hundreds of thousands of individuals irreversibly impacted by the processes and systems that she and Larry Yatch developed through SEAL Team Leaders, Annie is confident that every business owner has access to the solutions for every business problem as long as they’re willing to start telling the truth. Her job is simply to help you find it. Annie lives in Park City, Utah where she and her two boys (5, 7) are on the ski slopes together every weekend—and when clients and program members start to release those 80+ hour weeks to access their own version of weekend ski trips, that’s her truest measure of success.

What’s shakin’? Today, we're diving deep into a topic that’s come into the mainstream in a big way—gaslighting. In fact, it was the most searched word of the year, and for good reason. Gaslighting can turn your world upside down, making you question your reality, your feelings, and sometimes even your sanity. In this episode, I lay out the signs, tactics, and phrases that gaslighters use to manipulate and control, from “I’m sorry you feel that way” to “You’re overreacting.” Whether it's your partner, friend, or boss who may be gaslighting, this episode is about giving you the tools to protect your peace and stand strong.

About Andrea:

Andrea Lowell is a Self Mastery Coach from Long Beach , CA. After spending half of her life in the entertainment industry, she discovered it's not "being on TV," having a house on the beach, or a cool car in the driveway that equates to success. In fact, she was miserable when she "had it all." She used her own despair and hopelessness as the fertile ground for radical self-improvement and personal growth. After an instant awakening in 2012, she put herself to work; inner work. And by incorporating decades of research into quantum mechanics, ancient wisdom, and Self-healing! She discovered that by uncovering her core essence through radical self-awareness, and coupling that with harnessing Universal and Natural Law, she not only became a manifesting master but also Self Mastered! She put this blueprint-for-bliss into a course at the suggestion of a client. She has now guided countless women, from any and all stages of their current personal development, personal pain, stagnation, or frustration, into Self Mastered queens! Her formula is proven and simple. She has discovered that by integrating her knowledge into a daily lifestyle, she has uncovered the keys to living drama-free, guilt-free, shame-free, and full of Self Worth, Self Love, joy, purpose, and ABUNDANCE! Andrea Lowell is happily married to her partner of 20 years, James. They love to spend as much time in Nature as possible, opting to overland and backpack for their vacations. They have found that the less they desire, the more they have and the more they receive. Inner peace and Bliss are what Andrea has found to be the result of her lifestyle and outlook on life

What’s shakin’? Is Your Circle Holding You Back? | Rick Jordan19 Sep 202400:13:44

What’s shaking? Today, we’re going all in on something that EVERYONE deals with—growth, change, and the people around you. As you level up in life, whether it’s in business, health, or personal growth, not everyone will be cheering you on. Some might even drag you down. You can’t change people, but you can change who you surround yourself with. Trust me, I’ve been through it. I dropped 90 pounds and faced criticism from family and friends—it wasn’t just about weight loss, it was about deciding to be the best version of myself. And when you grow, people around you might see their own weaknesses reflected back. They might not like that. But here’s the thing—you get to choose who’s in your circle, and sometimes that means walking away from those who don’t grow with you. If you're ready to push past the limits others set for you, this episode is for you.

Celebrating Showing Up vs. Doing the Work | Rick Jordan12 Sep 202400:05:47

What’s shaking, everyone? I’m Rick Jordan, and today we’re breaking down one of the biggest misconceptions out there—this idea that “just showing up” is enough. Let me tell you, showing up is NOT the battle. It’s just the starting line. I dive into why you need to stop patting yourself on the back just for being present and start focusing on the actions that truly move the needle. Whether it’s in business, relationships, or personal goals, it’s the work you put in after you show up that counts. Showing up alone doesn’t win wars, achieve success, or create lasting relationships. It’s about consistency, effort, and follow-through. So, are you just showing up, or are you ready to get to work?

Honing Your Manhood | Rick Jordan02 Oct 202500:14:54

This is the sequel to my episode on what makes a good man. That one was about character. This one is about the daily work. The things you earn. The things you can't buy. Three things every man needs to work on every single day. A fit body. A calm mind. A house full of love. None of these come easy. None of these stay without consistency. All of them are temporary without intention. A fit body isn't about six-pack abs. It's about showing up. Five days a week. Thirty minutes minimum. Watching what you put in your body. The formula is simple. Your target weight times ten equals your calorie intake. Add some dumbbell work. That's it. Stop overcomplicating it. A calm mind doesn't mean you're not an entrepreneur with twenty-seven ideas in the shower. It means emotional stability. Being grounded. You can get angry and still have a calm mind. You can get pissed off and still have a calm mind. It's about bringing yourself back to baseline. Making choices instead of reacting. That's what leads to a house full of love. Theodore Roosevelt said it best. The only man who never makes mistakes is the man who never does anything. You want to know why you're stuck. You're playing it too safe. You think you need fifty grand saved before you start. You think you need all your ducks in a row. That's bullshit. Risk is the only way to gain everything you want. Big things are only obtainable by people who make big screw-ups. The third thing is patience. A man who is a master of patience is a master of everything else. Not patience with everyone else. Patience with yourself. You can't be patient with your kids driving you crazy if you're not patient with yourself. You miss a deadline. You yell at someone you love. Be patient with yourself. Apologize. Tell them you're working on it. Tell them you'll do better. That's how you build a huge heart.

Sacrifice, Family, and Perseverance | Rick Jordan29 Aug 202400:12:48

Upbringings, sacrifice, and what it means to create something out of something. I grew up in a household where money was tight—really tight. My dad was a life insurance salesman in Chicago, working tirelessly to provide for us, while my mom sacrificed her career to stay home with us kids. But even with all the financial struggles, my parents always found a way to make things happen. They showed me that success isn’t just about the money you make—it’s about the sacrifices you’re willing to endure for the ones you love. It’s about creating opportunities, even when it seems impossible. Today, I’m sharing my story, how it shaped who I am, and how you can take those same lessons and apply them to your life. If you’ve ever felt like you didn’t have enough growing up, or if you’re looking for ways to provide for your family despite financial challenges, this episode is for you. Let’s go all in on what really matters.

Why Forgiveness Starts with You | Rick Jordan22 Aug 202400:21:16

What's shaking? Today, we’re diving into a deep and powerful topic—one that can literally change your life: forgiveness. I’m not talking about that "forgive and forget" nonsense. No, real forgiveness doesn’t require you to forget anything. What it does require is letting go of the anger, resentment, and hostility that’s been keeping you stuck. Forgiveness isn’t about the other person; it’s about you—your emotional health, your ability to move forward, and your capacity to repair your life. I’m breaking down what forgiveness is not and how it can set you free, starting with the most important person you need to forgive: yourself.

Why Can’t You Trust Your Own Gut Feelings? | Rick Jordan15 Aug 202400:08:32

About Episode:

Today we’re going ALL IN on something that might seem simple but is deeply profound: the power of a coin toss. I came across this idea recently—flipping a coin to make a decision—and it got me thinking. We all have those moments where we’re stuck, not sure which way to go, but deep down, we know what we really want. The coin toss? It’s just a tool to help you realize it.

Let’s talk about how we often bury our true desires under layers of stories and self-limiting beliefs. You think you don’t know what you want? Think again. You do. And today, I’m giving you the tools to uncover that voice inside you that’s been screaming to be heard. We’ll walk through some powerful questions that will challenge the stories you’ve been telling yourself and help you get crystal clear on what you really want when it’s time to call that coin in the air.

The Power of Consistency | Rick Jordan27 Jun 202400:12:18

Today, we're diving into the importance of showing up every day, no matter what. Inspired by a story about Netflix co-founder Marc Randolph backing up his first baseman, I explore how consistent effort, even when unnoticed, leads to success. This episode is about the hard truth: your daily grind may often go unrecognized, but it’s crucial for long-term wins. We'll discuss the significance of being reliable, the unseen efforts that make a difference, and why you must keep pushing forward, even when it feels thankless. If you're serious about making an impact, this episode is for you.

About Matt:

I kept seeing that people had issues and no one wanted to find the answers to them. Since I had issues and everyone was wrong about them and I had to fix them I started looking at how to fix everyone else, like a puzzle. So I wake up at 4 every morning and I have for 10 years and I read research. So I have been able to figure out from the research how to fix a lot of things.

Stress is Your Superpower | Rick Jordan25 Sep 202500:11:09

Jordan Peterson dropped something on Instagram that stopped me cold. "If you're not having to think about something big and stressful, then all you'll think about is something small and delusional." Hit me like a truck. Made me realize something about the difference between people who grow and people who stay stuck. Right now I'm thinking about building companies. Taking the company public. Speaking gigs. My kids turning eighteen soon. Real things. Big things. Stressful things. But they're actually happening. They matter. They push me forward. But when you don't have bigger challenges your brain fixates on this meaningless stuff. It treats minor inconveniences like major crises. That's the trap of comfort. When you remove real challenges from your life you don't get peace. You get obsessed with trivial problems. Here's what I learned about stress and pressure. They're not something to avoid. They're something to seek out. The only way to grow is through pressure. The only way to gain experience is through stress. Whatever you're dreaming about amplify it by two. Make it harder. Make it scarier. Put real pressure on yourself. That's how diamonds are made. Coal compressed under enormous pressure. You need that pressure to become who you're meant to be. Stop avoiding stress. Start seeking the right kind of stress. Big challenges. Real problems. Meaningful pressure that pulls you toward your potential.
