Hallo und herzlich willkommen zur ersten deutschsprachigen Folge von Forum:GovTech Europe, der Podcast in dem es rund um die Themen digitale Verwaltung, GovTech StartUps, Cyber-Sicherheit und Smart Cities geht. 

In dieser Folge begleiten mich Tabea Hein und Prof. Dr. Christian Schachtner. Tabea ist Inhouse-Consultant der Stadt Frankfurt am Main und beschäftigt sich u.A. mit der Einsetzung von KI in Kommunen. Die zertifizierte KI-Managerin hat ihr Wirtschaftsinformatik-Studium mit einer Masterarbeit zu digitaler Transformation kommunaler Verwaltung abgeschlossen. Christian Schachtner ist seit 2020 Professor und Studiengangleiter im Bereich Public Management der IUBH Internationale Hochschule. Seine Promotion erfolgte an der Wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt im Bereich der personalwirtschaftlichen Transformation des öffentlichen Sektors.

Welcome to the fourth episode of "Forum:GovTech Europe", the podcast that fosters the debate on the relationship between government and technology in Europe and beyond.

In this episode, I talk to Cristina Martinez Prieto, who is the founder and CEO of the PIT (Public Interest Technology) Policy Lab. Cristina has spent many years working at the intersection between government and technology, amongst other things as consultant for the World Bank or leading the AI for Good Lab for the Mexican Think Tank C Minds. We discussed GovTech and StartUps in Latin America, the Biden's administration's Tech Policy ambitions and the regulation of emerging technologies.
