I hear these thoughts and feelings so often from my clients and other Coaches. We trained to be coaches after all, not marketing and sales professionals! The thought of selling ourselves essentially can bring up all sorts of stuff!

In this episode I talk about why we may feel these things and more importantly what to do about them! Sadly, if you don't overcome this thinking, you won't make your coaching anything more than a hobby - and I know you want way more than that!

Group or 1:1? It's a question I get asked a lot... I work with groups and 1:1 clients, so for me, this mix works well.

Often new Coaches decide to go for group as their core offer as soon as they start out... which can seem like a great way forward to avoid the time for money income ceiling... However there can be pitfalls too.

In this episode I talk about the pros and cons of 1:1 and group coaching as well as the 'conditions' you may wish to consider before launching into group.

You want your Coaching to be your sole source of income... But how can you make that happen?

Many Coaches give their time away for free - and get stuck there or, at best, sell their coaching at very low cost. Don't get caught in that trap! Not only because you want to earn your living, but because you are doing yourself a disservice.

Aside from finding clients that want to buy from you, you need to ensure you get your pricing right - so that working with those clients actually earns you a wage. Once you have them ready to buy, you don't want to de-value your work and leave them wondering "why so cheap?!"

In this episode I will share how I think you should price your coaching and the pitfalls to watch out for. This isn't another podcast telling you to sell 'high-ticket'. You can of course. But, for me, starting out as a Coach needs to be filled with integrity and you need to feel comfortable selling your services - at a profitable price, but not a ridiculous one!

To niche or not to niche?!

In this episode I will share my views on if Coaches need to have niches - and how to go about figuring yours out if you do! (spoiler alert - most of you do need one!).

Often Coaches are worried that if they niche they are shutting off opportunities. That they may get it 'wrong'. This episode will help overcome those fears and outline the difference between marketing to your niche, but coaching more broadly.
