Season 2 · Episode 9

jeudi 24 novembre 2022Duration 29:44

In this episode I chat to Helena Young, mum of two and Pharmacist who has experienced two significant pivots within her 15 year career.

Helena's first career shift came before having children and the second after her second maternity leave. Helena, now working in training and education as an Education Supervisor for the Centre of Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) now delivers training and support to pharmacy professionals moving into the primary care sector. Helena previously worked in community pharmacy and, more recently, was Head of Department of Compliance and Medical Affairs for an independent clinical services provider.

In this episode we discuss how Helena successfully achieved both changes in her career - what really helped her and how she decided to make the leaps. We discuss the difference in doing this pre- and post-children and of course the episode is jam-packed full of snippets of advice and tips for anyone else considering career changes.
