Jacob Williams is an avid listener of the show and also our Friday Night Live Cast (Panhandle Fishing Report).  He didn't think I'd actually talk to him and record and episode!  He has prided himself in calling him our "troll" but in reality, he's a great dude.  We spent a good time talking about fishing and his techniques but it got really interesting when we started talking about throwing cast nets.  He's a great guy and I'm thankful that he let me record him and share some of his knowledge.

Wes Motsinger has been making rods and upgrading reels for customers but took us into the details and the why's of the process.  I personally learned a bunch about my gear just from talking with him and how to get things a little better.  No where in this episode is the "you need to buy a custom rod" said.  It is a great bit of information about how they are made and the information about them.  Not only that, the discussion about reels and his servicing process for the ones that are sent to him made me realize how far off I am on getting my gear where it should be.  A great episode, and hopefully, it brings you some knowledge!

Arinton Mercado, the "Saltwater Mercs" has been in the fishing game for years and brings his experiences from south Florida to the Panhandle region.  What started out as family time as a kid, transformed into a passion for fishing in all areas.  When his father-in-law moved up to the panhandle, he told Arinton about the fishing and he moved up there with his family in tow.  Since then, he has been in the surf, inshore, on piers, and in jetties putting in work.  On his YouTube channel, he has shown people how to fish and gives tips to help you be successful.  Along the way, he started his own charter business and has been putting people on fish ever since.  You won't want to miss the tips he drops in here (especially about throwing lures) as it will probably help you get something big in the surf your next time out.

"Bearded" Brad Warren came from middle Tennessee to Alabama and started his journey surf fishing where it grew into a business and he became a household name on YouTube! After a charter with Matt "Bama Beach Bum" Isbell, Brad knew he was going to love surf fishing and really dove into it.  He studied fellow YouTubers and put in the hours at the beach learning and honing his skills.  He finally started his own YouTube channel where he focused on teaching and recording his outings.  In doing so, it helped him become an even better angler and also travel to other areas to fish more!

Jack Moran talks us through the world of shark, kayak, and surf fishing as he has been through it!  He started out fishing as a kid with his family and it became his obsession.  After he caught his first shark in the surf (Atlantic Sharpnose), he knew that shark fishing was for him.  He has always loved sharks and everything about them growing up.  Now, he has found a way to enjoy sharing his passion by educating and leading guided shark fishing trips through Navarre Beach Shark Fishing.  Not only has he proved his skills there, but he has also been dropping knowledge on kayak fishing through his YouTube Channel Yakin With Jack for a long time.
When he isn't shark fishing or in the yak, he can be found on the surf slaying pompano, whiting, blues, and so much more.  I had a lot of fun talking with him and definitely learned quite a bit more about how to properly shark fish safely.

Allison "Reel Love" Stattner came and dropped bombs of knowledge on fishing, harvesting, and the programs she is heavily involved with to help everyone in the fishing world!  What started out as fishing with her family in New Jersey, has evolved into a significant passion in south Florida.  Along the way, she became heavily involved with FWC's Catch A Florida Memory program and teaches in many clinics.  This episode is littered with knowledge of the program, how she fishes, her involvement with the International Women's Fishing Association (IFWA) on the board, and her most recent path with the Ike Jime Federation.
