Will Not Seeing the Number of Likes on Instagram Posts Be Better for Our Mental Health?
mardi 30 avril 2019 • Duration 12:35
Recently Instagram started experimenting with a new feature where your followers wouldn't see how many likes you get on your posts. Instagram said "we want your followers to focus on what you share, not how many likes your posts get." There are some people, like Anthony, who don't think about how many likes they get, so they wouldn't care about this change. On the flip side, the entire Influencer industry is built on people seeing how many likes they get. On this episode Natasha, Taylor and Anthony get into if this change would benefit people's mental health and why there's an urge for validation when you get likes on your posts. Listen and tell us: would you like to see this feature implemented?
