David Sherriden, a Necromancer who works for the West Country Branch of the Supernatural Council, reunites with his old Uni friend; Kendra "Ken" Anchyer, a ferrywoman for the Barbican and a Mundane (that's our word for a non Supernatural person...like you...maybe...)

What is the definition of a true family? Is it the people you were born to, the people you were raised with or is it the people who would help you out no matter what?
While Dave has now taken himself off the hunt for Jan, Sera and Ken have teamed up (which is a terrifying thought really) and are on the trail of finding the Irish Vampire...but as they draw in closer, Sera is reminded of why she and Jan always stick together...
