Jen (Michelle Williams) and her mother (Mel Harris) have a long overdue conversation when Helen Lindley arrives in Capeside unannounced for the holiday. 

Dawson (James Van Der Beek) has his own parental issues when he notices that Mitch (John Wesley Shipp) and Gale (Mary Margaret Humes) are suddenly acting overly friendly with one another despite their current separation.

While missing her mother during the holiday, Joey (Katie Holmes) tries to give Andie (Meredith Monroe) some life advice regarding her relationship with Pacey (Joshua Jackson) who is also getting love advice from Jack (Kerr Smith).

We also discuss the random continuity on this show, proper coat etiquette at parties, and we unintentionally audition for ANY Record Execs who are listening to us! And we know there are at least 3 of you out there! :)

This week we're taking a boat ride across some unknown body of water in Capeside to get to "Witch Island" where we're investigating a witch island.  Are you scared yet? Because we're petrified! Join us as we recap Season 3, Episode 7, "Escape From Witch Island."

Our "Core Four" are back together this week as they head over to "Witch Island" and assist Dawson in making a film for their history class in lieu of actually writing out a paper on the Salem Witch Trials.  And somehow Principal Green ok'd this and let Joey, Pacey and Jen go along with him.

Meanwhile, back at school, Andie's ridiculousness is in FULL FORCE as P. Green makes her the head of the new disciplinary team. Oh yeah, Belinda the bitchy cheerleader that Jen ousted is back. Except she has nothing to say in this episode. Literally. She has ZERO lines.

And Jack is still MIA.

We also discuss "friends with benefits," paranormal situations, and the art of not knowing when someone is flirting with you. We hope you're all picking out your finest outfits because we've got Capeside's Homecoming Queen Gala to attend! In the words of Constance, the Elder Freck(ling), "Splendid! Just splendid!" Join us as we breakdown Season 3, Episode 6, "Secrets and Lies."

Jen (Michelle Williams) is tasked with co-hosting the HQ Gala with the oldest living HQ Constance Freckling (K Callan). After trying to get out of it, she runs into her Freshman, Henry Parker (Michael Pitt) who she ends up bonding with over some very specifically named flowers.

Andie (Meredith Monroe) calls Joey (Katie Holmes) for help after having an altercation with Rob. After Pacey (Joshua Jackson) shows up to her rescue, she realizes that her plan to get him back might have worked. Meanwhile, Joey is confronted by Rob who pleads his case to her, which makes her question the validity of Andie's story.

Dawson (James Van Der Beek) is excited that Gale (Mary Margaret Humes) is back home. But when he finds out the real reason she left Philly, he tells her that Mitch (John Wesley Shipp) might be a good shoulder to lean on.

We also discuss our first "I Love You's," when it's time to throw in the towel, and what a "gay handshake" is.  So, make sure your HQ Crown is all shined up, put on your best Renaissance outfit, and PLEASE don't cry wolf tonight, because we're on our way to a Gala featuring the WORST Drag Queen show you will ever see! Dawson (James Van Der Beek) is putting together a news segment on new football star, Jack (Kerr Smith) to be aired on the 10 o'clock news.  When Mitch (John Wesley Shipp) tells Dawson he's against it, we learn that COMMUNICATION is fundamental in getting your point across.

Pacey (Joshua Jackson) talks Joey (Katie Holmes) into skipping school with him so he can show her his big surprise. After getting caught by Mr. Green, his punishment has them both looking like a jackass.

Jen (Michelle Williams) quits the cheerleading squad after learning that she's the winning prize for a fundraiser.  When she finds out someone donated $500 to kiss her, she ends up feeling obligated to meet the man with "furry teeth and halitosis." Did someone say, "Doug Flutie Mouthpiece?"

Andie (Meredith Monroe) starts to feel guilty about stealing the PSAT when Mr. Green calls on her to discuss a disciplinary situation.

We also discuss premature cancellations, our favorite gelato and the REAL purpose of Facebook. So, get your lipstick and rouge ready for the BIG game, someone put on the Minute Men Mule Mascot costume, and fire up that Beta Max machine because we're breaking down Season 3, Episode 4, "Home Movies."

Happy Friday Creek Talkers!

We're all gearing up to take the PSAT's this weekend! Did you study!? Or did you take the easy route and steal the test that was already stolen and not tell your friends about it?  Does it even matter at this point?  Join us this week as we recap Season 3, Episode 3, "None of the Above." Dawson (James Van Der Beek) receives an important gift from Eve (Brittany Daniel). When he decides to share this gift with his friends, they all become unknowing participants in a game of "Who Stole the PSAT That Was Already Stolen!?"

Joey (Katie Holmes) is having anxiety dreams. Pacey (Joshua Jackson) and Andie (Meredith Monroe) are putting the final nail in their relationship. Welcome Back Creek Talkers!

This week wanted to say, "Welcome Home," to the podcast! If you've been a loyal listener since the beginning, we appreciate you so much! And if you're new here, we would highly recommend you start at the very beginning, Episode 1--The Pilot!  Our sound quality does get better...eventually. :)

This week we're welcoming home old friends from mental hospitals, we're buying condoms for the first time, we're learning about infidelities and that gay guys can actually like football.  Join us as we recap Season 3, Episode 2, "Homecoming."

Dawson (James Van Der Beek) is still trying to figure out the mysterious Eve (Brittany Daniel). And all Eve wants to do is bang Dawson.  Both of these things almost happen in front of a live audience. But something tells us that Dawson wouldn't have gone through with it either way. Because Dawson is Dawson.

Pacey (Joshua Jackson) is getting anxiety over seeing Andie (Meredith Monroe) again. He invites Joey (Katie Holmes) to tag along with him on a road trip to surprise his girlfriend, but when he gets there, he notices something just isn't the same about her. And we're not talking about her high pigtails.

Jack (Kerr Smith) is being recruited by Freshman, Henry Parker (Michael Pitt) to join the football team. But Jack is concerned about the ridicule that might occur since he is openly gay.

Jen (Michelle Williams) gives Dawson some very descriptive sex advice after finding his box of condoms.

We also discuss if Dawson was REALLY in love with Joey, if "waiting for the right person" even means anything as you get older, and Jayme gives us a (very) short song break. 

So, go buy your favorite brand of prophylactics (Brown Betty's) and put your hair in some "Wendy's" style pigtails (like Andie), because this week we're breaking down Season 3, Episode 2, "Homecoming."
