 In this episode we address a question that Megan received from a guest at a shamanic journey about what happens to haunted objects if you burn them. Elyse and Megan discuss considering where the object or energy initiated, how our own beliefs and fears effect the experience, and how best to clear or cleanse it based on the object and its intended use. 
   We then explore the manifestation of deities and goddesses. What came first, the being or the belief? Can a story gain enough power to manifest into our reality as an experience? Elyse shares an example with her own patron goddess as an example, and we consider the facets of these beings representing characteristics within ourselves we may be called to bring forward in the next chapter of our lives.

   Emotions are energy and need to be moved and expressed. When there is no channel for this energy to flow it may collect in our minds, body, or physical space. This is part of what may instigate experiences of paranormal and poltergeist activity and leads to why this type of disruptive activity is most common for those in times of stress, transition, and high emotion. For example, we may hear more stories effecting those in teenage years, moving into a new space, career, or other life stressor. 
   The spirit world can reflect our inner world, and for that reason it can be powerful, if not essential, to process and channel our emotions in a good way. Anger is a good example that Elyse brings up in this episode. When suppressed it can leak into our lives in toxic ways or we can take ownership of our emotions, energy, and experience, and direct it into action or creation. This can be through creative projects or making choices to create the change we want to see. It can be challenging to see and claim these pieces of ourselves. However, it becomes empowering to reclaim our energy and power where we can in our lives, so we can create the results we want versus externalizing the source and remaining a victim to experience.
