I’m back with Season 6 of Cone’s Cave and since my band Sum 41 has just played our final shows I thought it’d be fitting to have a few guys from the band of my show. This week I have my great friends and bandmates Tom Thacker and Deryck Whibley on the show! As you can imagine there’s lots of stories coming your way on this episode and of coarse I touch on the end of Sum 41 and how it felt to play the last shows and how I feel now. This week I have Jonny Two Bags, guitarist of the legendary punk band Social Distortion on my show. Social D is a personal favorite of mine. The 1st real punk album I ever owned was “Smash” by the Offspring in 1994 and so when I was 19 years old and all of a sudden Sum 41 was opening for The Offspring my mind then was kinda blown.
