Both Sarah Michelle Gellar & Freddie Prinze Jr both blew up in 1997 with both of their first lead movie roles being in the hit I Know What You Did Last Summer. Diddy & Jennifer Lopez were an item back in the late 1990's and early 2000's and during their relationship the both went through huge life altering moments. During their relationship Diddy helped J Lo break into the music scene and become a star. At the same time, Diddy & J Lo were involved in a sho*oting at Club New York just prior to New Years 1999. Both J Lo & Diddy were arrested & evidence & accusations stacked up, although surprisingly after a ling trial, Diddy walked away completely exonerated. This event went on to create headline after headline, & despite Combs was charged with serious crimes, J Lo remained loyal  and by his side. Diddy & Ashton Kutcher have been friends for over 20 years, & after Diddy's arrest, it seems Ashton Kutcher & his wife Mila Kunis are trying to distance themselves from any association with Diddy. Especially after the disaster filled year they just had after writing letters of support for convicted serial monster Danny Masterson. In the early 2000’s, Diddy was already an a-lister, & while working on his hit show Making the Band with MTV, he met Hollywoods latest golden boy who also had a successful MTV show, Ashton Kutcher. Desperate Housewives was being watched by over 30 million people during its first season in 2004. During that first season, the show won dozens of awards, being parodied on Saturday Night Live & late night, & the shows commercials and billboards were everywhere. One other thing that made Desperate Housewives even more famous was its problems behind the scenes, especially between its cast. The drama went mainstream when the Desperate Housewives cast had an explosive shoot with Vanity Fair that was so outrageous that Vanity Fair actually called the cast out in the accompanying article.

And Just Like That is the latest project in the SATC universe, but unfortunately AJLT isn't going down very well with SATC fans. Sex & The City was a wildly popular show starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon & Kristin Davis- & audiences couldn’t get enough of the cosmo sipping ladies when the show premiered on HBO in 1998. The series was a culture phenomenon that changed the television landscape, dominated award shows &  went onto produce two movies, Sex & The City The Movie & SATC 2, followed by the aforementioned continuation series, And Just Like That. SATC is known for many accolades, but the show is also infamous in Hollywood for its feud between its two biggest stars, Sarah Jessica Parker V Kim Cattrall. The cast feud & controversies aren't the only problems SATC & AJLT producers are dealing with, as AJLT has had many of its own controversies, including horrendous accusations levied against Chirs Noth who played Carrie Bradshaw's love interest, Mr Big. Producers have also faced backlash from fans for the quality of AJLT as a show, with many viewers being frustrated by subpar storylines, out of touch & questionable character decisions, along with the introduction of a new figure in the SATC universe who is unanimously hated, Che Diaz. Che Diaz, played by Sara Ramirez, is a character fans are extremely frustrated with, & with Che Diaz taking up so much screen time in seasons one & two of And Just Like That, longtime loyal fans are questioning whether Sex & The City should have been revived at all?

Laura Prepon moved to Hollywood in 1998 for her first ever role as the quintessential girl next door Donna Piccioti on That 70’s Show. Laura Prepon refused to speak about her & her husbands still close ties to Danny Masterson, her exit from scientology or her alleged intimidation of dm’s victims. Given Laura Prepon’s silence on the subjects, some people thought op’s silence meant she was distancing herself from dm, while many more came to the conclusion she maintained a friendship with dm but just not publicly. Oceangate's Titan submersible has almost become as famous as the Titanic itself. In June 2023,  Oceangate launched the titan into the Atlantic and Oceangates CEO Stockton Rush headed towards the Titanic wreck with four souls on board. The submersible and its occupants were never seen again. Tobey Maguire in the mid 2000's had it all, he was playing Spider-man in a massive franchise, was married to the daughter of Universal Pictures, was rich, famous & all his dreams had come true. Despite having it all, Maguire wanted more, & decided to he was going to use his love of poker to bring his net worth from the EIGHT figure to NINE figures. The Biggest Loser was a first of its kind reality show, bringing a group of contestants together to fight for $250,000 by losing weight. Harvey Weinstein & his companies, Miramax & The Weinstein Company dominated Hollywood & the vast majority of award shows for over four decades, especially the Oscars. Weinstein was known as the King of Hollywood & THE producer, able to make or break anyone’s career. Weinstein was not satisfied with merely being one of the biggest players in Hollywood, rich, successful, having his movies highly decorated every awards season, being thanked more than even god in Oscar speeches & having a wife & kids to go home to. None of this was enough for Weinstein, & he spent day in, day out, preying on & attacking young actresses who were meeting with him to try to& get their big break in Hollywood. Weinstein had a lot of help to continue his disgusting crimes, & to cover them up for decades, he was almost untouchable. Only because of some brave women who were survivors of Weinstein & some brave journalists was the truth about Weinstein finally revealed & he was finally unmasked as a monster. One aspect of Weinstein’s history that is almost never discussed in recent years is his Oscars campaign, & how he used his fame, Oscar nominations & wins to lure in scores of young actresses. So that’s what we’re discussing today, Harvey Weinstein and his  long history of lies, bullying, manipulation & bribery to secure constant award show nominations and wins for his films, and himself, in order to dangle a career as a Best Actress Oscar winner at the women he preyed on. We’ll also be covering his relationship with Gwyneth Paltrow & the part she played in Weinstein’s story, as it was Gwyneth Paltrow’s career above all others that Harvey Weinstein offered up to other women, trying to get them to give into his twisted, disgusting advances.
