After an amazing year, coming top 8 in both the 5,000m and 10,000m at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in 2022, Izzi has continued to impress by running 2:27:54 at the Nagoya Marathon which is the marathon qualifying time for this years World Championships in Budapest. Izzi is for sure on for an amazing season of racing, we catch up with her before she heads out to Japan to run a Half Marathon.
She is also setting her sights on getting back on the track at some point as she has some unfinished business as she wants to break 15 minutes in the 5,000m before she hangs up her racing spikes.
