He has valuable insights into the workings of DHS and the border crisis through his work at DHS at the national level, supporting the field operations of Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and the US Border Patrol. He is retired from over 22 years in the armed forces of the United States, retiring at the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7). Having a family that is dependent on one's skills, how serious one takes self-defense and survival, was sobering which led her on the path to obtaining dual mater's degrees in Emergency Management and Homeland Security.

I have been in the media production business for over thirty years now, creating commercial video content and documentaries. When I asked myself how I could make a difference and bring awareness to this situation, the answer was obvious: make a documentary.
The Black Sky Event was born.

After becoming highly involved with the volunteer rescue and relief efforts associated with Hurricane Harvey, he saw numerous issues that could have easily been alleviated by just having a better way of doing things.
