Back to the league again and another defeat - this time expected as a young and much changed Gloucester side lost away to Saracens. However a plucky final 10 minutes took advantage of some sloppy Sarries play and secured a Try bonus point. We chat through the game, whether the squad selection was the correct one is probably still to be decided, but we do have a discussion on the rights and wrongs of picking that many inexperienced players. We also discuss the latest Red Roses win, a thrashing of Ireland at Twickenham - but ponder if the lack of any real opposition is going to harm the development of the women's game. Ed Price Jim Harley Russ Brookes
| Series 3 - Episode 16: International Rugby Round-up and Listener Questions answered | 19 Nov 2021 | 01:16:42 | |

We asked for your questions and you sent them in - Our favourite Food and Drink options before/after the game; How has the pitch effected our style of play? Money no object destination to watch a non-English Rugby side? The one thing we would immediately get rid of in modern rugby vs the one thing we must keep at all costs. Finally we discuss some positive news and ideas that the club have had over the last few weeks. Ed Price Jim Harley Lawrence Landray (Loz) Russ Brookes James Eastwood (Snowy)
| Series 3 - Episode 13: Gloucester somehow get a draw despite a dreadful 1st Half; Ed falls over (twice); Bath get thumped and the England squad announcement | 22 Oct 2021 | 01:19:31 | |
Ed and Russ travelled down to Brentford for the London Irish game and were witness to one of the worst first 40 minutes from Gloucester in a long time - amazingly through tenacity, belief and a little luck the Cherry and Whites secured a valuable 25-25 draw. Ed also spent a little time on the pitch at half time, mainly on the floor as he unfortunately failed to win two flights to the Cayman Islands! We discuss the game, Ed's awful display, Bath getting stuffed by Saracens and the recently announced England squad. Ed Price James Eastwood (Snowy) Russ Brookes *Apologies for the swearing!!!

Well if any game summed up the joy and suffering of a Gloucester supporter it was the Sale game last weekend. A wonderful 76 minute performance and a near disastrous 4 minute one. We chat about the game, the performances and what happened in the closing stages. We also discuss the reasons for the low attendances in the first two home games of the season, are the club getting it right with their offers and deals? Finally we talk through the other rugby news including Marcus Smith making it look easy against a poor Bristol side, Canada not qualifying for the World Cup for the first time and the potential for a Club World Cup. The lads chat about the game, their thoughts on some of the key players which even includes an apology from Ed - he is learning Russian to make it more convincing! We also discuss the shock win for the Cornish Pirates against much fancied Ealing, the brilliant end to the Rugby Championship with one of the best Test matches in recent history and the news that Saracens are getting a £32m takeover - we aren't jealous, honestly. Ed Price Lawrence Landray (Loz) Russ Brookes

Lawrence Landray (Loz) James Eastwood (Snowy) **Apologies for the sound quality this week - Snowy was struggling to stream and chat at the same time!

Well a lot can happen in a week. Rassie Erasmus has a 1 hour rant about how bad the refereeing was in the 1st Test. He didn't really need to bother trying to play mind games as the Lions were dreadful in a 27-9 defeat. We discuss the game, the nonsense leading up to it and also preview the 3rd Test. We also chat about the new Gloucester home shirt (spoiler - we all like it), the Olympic Sevens campaigns from Team GB and a few bits and pieces of other Gloucester related news. In our 50th pod, we discuss the new Gloucester training facility and artificial pitch plus round up all the rugby nonsense and rumours. We will be back later this week with a review of the semi finals and preview the Premiership final between Quins and Exeter.

It was always going to be a tough ask away to the rampant Bristol Bears, but a 12th minute red card meant it became damage control. Bristol did their best to entertain us with some comical and innovative methods in cocking up tries but we ended up heavily beaten. The guys chat about the game and what if anything can be gleaned from it. We discuss the performance and the result, before chatting about another varied week in rugby. We start this weeks pod with a tribute to Graham Spring, who sadly passed away on Monday. He was the announcer at Kingsholm for 40 years and was an absolute legend at the club. The lads discuss the defeat to Harlequins and how wise it is to 'target' certain games and how much the academy players would have learnt from the experience. We also review the Six Nations and talk about how good Louis Rees-Zammit can be (and whether we at Gloucester will get to see it); before a final discussion about how to turn Kingsholm back into the Fortress it used to be. All our thoughts are with Jo and Neville at this difficult time, as well as all of Ruby's family and friends. There is a Go Fund Me page, in memory of Ruby, aiming to raise funds for Great Western Air Ambulance. The link can be found below. https://www.gofundme.com/f/walking-for-ruby Gloucester Rugby defeated Leicester Tigers at Welford Road for the first time since 2007 after a battling display and a late Stephen Varney try, but the focus was very much on Zach Mercer who put in a performance that showed exactly why he should be in the England squad and why he is so important to the team. We chat through the game, the performance and why once again the style of play and attacking intent is so important. In the second half of the pod, we discuss the TMO issues from last weekend, the Women's Six Nations first round and preview our next game against Bristol.

He discussed his early days with Bath, winning the World Cup, seeing sense and joining the Cherry and Whites where despite some incredible performances and victories the team never quite managed to win the big trophies. We touched on his often horrific injuries and missing out on The Lions before chatting about his work with Minchinhampton and helping some fantastic charities - the links for all three charities are noted below: https://cureparkinsons.org.uk/ https://www.matthampsonfoundation.org/ https://www.myname5doddie.co.uk/ Massive thanks to Mike Tindall for giving his time!
