In this week's episode I interview my good friend Jake Gordon, the Co-Founder & CEO of Noteefy, the fast-growing technology company helping golf operators fill tee time cancelations more easily.
Noteefy (pronounced ‘notify’) has the first automated tee time assistant / waitlist for golfers and golf courses to improve the golfer booking experience, while accelerating course revenue and efficiency. The Noteefy booking assistant (technology is patent pending) enables golfers to input their personalized playing preferences, then get a real time notification when their desired tee time comes available. The golfer then books on the existing POS tee sheet as they normally would and the course keeps 100% of the revenue. Golfers never need to call again, and operators fill every desired tee time.

With a coaching resume boasting over 400 professional golfers, such as Justin Rose, Sir Nick Faldo, Captain Paul McGinley, and Seamus Power, Bradley is celebrated for transforming Rose’s career, propelling him from a modest ranking of 125 in the world to an impressive 5th.
Beyond the fairways, Nick Bradley boasts an impressive track record as a two-time best-selling author, serving as a global authority on golf education for esteemed organizations like the Golf Union of Ireland, the PGA of Great Britain, The English Golf Union, and the Russian Golf Federation.
Not limiting his expertise to professionals, Bradley extends his instruction to golfers of all levels and ages, driven by an ardent passion for helping people improve their game. Always willing to share his wealth of knowledge and experience, he stands as an approachable mentor for all who seek his guidance.

We made it to Episode 21 of the Behind the Golf Brand Podcast. Thank you for all of the comments and emails. In this week's episode I interview my good friend Luke Davis, the Founder of Lie and Loft.
Home is where the heart is. Yeah, I know, it’s cliché but it’s true. For golfers, we often feel most at home when we’re out on the links chasing whitey with our friends and family. When you think about it, home is feeling. An experience where you feel at peace with the ones you love. Even though you can’t spend every waking moment out roaming the fairways, that doesn’t mean you can’t take that feeling of home with you when it’s time to shut the trunk and leave the course. Let us introduce you to Lie and Loft.
In this week's episode, I interview my good friend Rick Versace Jr., the founder of Proud 90.
Proud 90 is just a group of guys that love hitting the links. Breaking 90 is considered a win for the day when they go out. Their approach to golf is similar to our approach to life - always have a good time, and don’t take things too seriously. It’s not just about hitting the lowest score out there. It’s about letting off steam after a hard week at work. It’s about kicking back and having a few beers with your buds while playing a game we love. It’s about getting out there and having a great time on the course, regardless of whether we're shooting in the 80’s or the 100’s. At some point, it occurred to them that there was no golf brand for the average weekend hacker just looking to have fun — so they decided it was their duty to create one. And just like that, Proud 90 was born.
They think their fierce, bold designs and comfortable, lightweight fabrics reflect how they choose to play the game — sometimes unconventional, but never too seriously. Don’t get them wrong! They are constantly working to improve their game, just as we're always working to enhance their brand. That being said, they know they will never be on the PGA Tour, but that hasn't stopped them from going for it on every shot and having a hell of a good time doing it.
We made it to Episode 20 of the Behind the Golf Brand Podcast. Thank you for all of the comments and emails. In this week's episode I interview my good friend Tom Hunsucker , the Co-Founder of Nexbelt.
Fit and fashion are highly subjective. Many players will differ in what they like to look at and how things feel around their body. If you are a golfer that has struggled to find a belt that is comfortable, looks great, and fits your exact size, Nexbelt provides a superior option with a variety of color palettes and strap materials. The ratchet style buckle system is proprietary in nature and, by far, the best closure system we have tried at Golfers Authority. The guys at Nexbelt are some of the nicest guys we have worked with, and make some of the best belts that I have ever owned.

Dean did not come into this endeavor with no experience though; he worked at TaylorMade Golf for 18 years, including working in Research and Development for some of TaylorMade’s most successful golf ball models. He also worked at Titleist where he helped with the design of the wildly successful Pro V1 line. Before this, he worked at BF Goodrich helping to design the aerodynamics of their helicopters. In this week's episode I interview my good friend Sam Hahn, the CEO of L.A.B. Putters.
L.A.B. putters is truly one of the most innovative companies in the industry. Their DF 2.1 (aka the space ship), and their smaller B.2 blade putter, are by far two of the most deadly accurate putters we have ever tested at Golfers Authority. So if performance is your main goal, then look no further to L.A.B. I can definitively say that their B.2 and DF 2.1 are the best we’ve seen straight out of the box.

In this week's episode I interview my good friends Jim Grundberg, Cody Hale, and Ted Gallina from Seemore Putters.
Many golfers would be better off spending more time thinking about which putter they were gaming than what the hottest new driver will be this season. While drivers continue to dominate the world of online golf, putter brands like SeeMore continue to push the envelope forward where golfers can actually benefit. Innovations like the RifleScope Technology and Face Balance at Impact can help players hole more putts and make the game more fun for players looking for a weekly skins game or amateur competitions.

When you strip away the names, logos and fancy proprietary feature labels, the phenomenal Precision Pro Golf NX7 and NX7 Pro Slope offer the same features and same quality as Bushnell - but at a substantially lower price.

In this week's episode I interview Art Chou, the former executive at Titleist and Rawlings who had been doing independent consulting in 2014 when a cold call inquiry on LinkedIn led to his current role as the GM of Rapsodo in North America. You know the ones you always delete :)
Art joined Rapsodo in August 2017, early in the company’s baseball and softball business (after it had already established itself in golf with the SkyTrak launch monitor) and helped to bring the Rapsodo Golf Mobile Launch Monitor (MLM) to market.

Sam Goulden, the founder of MNML Golf, grew up in Washington, Missouri; a small town about 40 miles west of St. Louis and, for most of his youth, Sam spent more time skateboarding than golfing – even through his college golf career. It was his love of helping golfers of all ages which led him into a career in golf.
For 10 years he traveled all over the country in search of the best methods of teaching and coaching. He worked with many of the worlds best coaches and took what he learned back to small town America. As his students got better and better, Sam felt the desire to prove himself as a player.
In 2006, at the age of 26, Sam shifted his focus toward competing on the professional level. He began a strict regimen of practice, mental training, fitness, and diet and nutrition. As he grew as a player, it became evident that he would have to spend the majority of his time on developing his own game.
Sam moved to California in the fall of 2009 to focus on playing full time on the Golden State Tour and in 2012, determined to see growth in his game, Sam sold all possessions and set out on a journey. This time he would travel the country, playing in PGA Tour qualifiers, and documenting his journey on YouTube. He lived out of his car, eating on a budget of $5 a day, sleeping in a tent for many events, and relying on the kindness of friends for support.
Throughout the constant documentation of his journey, Sam’s following on YouTube grew to over 3 million views. He started writing and publishing golf instruction books and online courses and now has over 10,000 members of his online coaching platform.
In 2018 Sam launched MNML Golf, a forward facing lifestyle brand which ushers in the non-exclusive vibes with modern, less traditional golf bags. His golf bag incorporates your phone, a bluetooth speaker, and a solar powered battery pack to keep you charged for 9, 18, or even 36 holes
Sam currently resides in Manhattan Beach, Ca where he starts his days with a sunrise surf, then coaches and tends to MNML Golf, and finishes his day with a sunset surf.
In the mid 2000's, while still in college, Benjamin Hagel started making t-shirt out of his apartment and selling them at different college bars. After throwing a couple of shirts on ebay for fun, and selling them out in a matter of hours, Ben realized he was on to something. Over the next few years he grew this small company into Circles Golf. With innovative designs, quality products, and impeccable service Circles Golf has become one of the go to golf shirt companies.
Circles Golf is a brand dedicated to golf and the lifestyle surrounding it, both on and off the course. At Circles Golf, they are thinking about golf 365 days a year. They incorporate everyday aspects of life with their love for golf. Just like a sports fan reps their favorite team daily, they have the same idea at Circles. Their team is Circles Golf and their mascot is Chirps (a bird(ie) of course). So Circles Golf goal is to provide original, fashionable, and fun ways to represent the team, even on days they can't make it out to the course, to show their love for the game.
Palm Golf began with a few buddies and a standing weekly tee time at a local muni course in Orange County, CA. In between numerous three-putts and duffed chips, we talked about ideas and visions on how to improve the game of golf. Since no one should trust us to teach the game of golf, we decided to find something we could improve -- the style. We looked at everything we could and found an often neglected, but vastly used product, the glove. Palm’s goal quickly became to provide a highly fashionable golf glove, with absolutely no sacrifice to the quality, and something that any golfer would want to wear. We have designs for the clean-cut, tucked-in country clubber, to the high-top, jogger-wearing, muni-hacker. However you dress up, we know we can cover your hand in style.
An avid golfer and aficionado for the sport, founder Diego Castro launched McEwan Golf Co. in 2018 and has been putting a fresh spin on the golf apparel industry ever since. After years of playing golf on the east coast in New England and watching regular PGA tournaments such as the Ryder cup, the US Open, and the Masters, Diego sought out to find the unique, distinctive hats he noticed fans and players wearing at these events and matchups. To his surprise, he discovered not only a complete lack of variety at Pro shops and online stores, but also a glaring vacancy of brands that shed light on the authentic golf experience of playing on the east coast.
Inspired by both his passion for golf and his disappointment with the shortage of sharp, distinguished designs available, Diego created McEwan Golf Co. to revive stagnant golf gear and bring golf lovers new, stylish, and modern hats and shirts that not only make you stand out in dashing boldness but also pay homage to the classic logos and quintessential golf attire that has been celebrated since the beginning of the sport. And unlike the west coast brands that flaunt fairytale fairways and picture-perfect golf days and conditions, you’ll actually find gear that spotlights the golfing elements found on the east coast.
In the spring of 2009, brothers Jason and Ryan Moore were inspired to make a better golf shoe. At the time Jason was caddying for his brother Ryan, a PGA Tour Player. Ryan could not find a pair of golf shoes that were both comfortable and that he could go on wearing both on and off the golf course. So what do two brothers from Seattle do, they start their own golf shoe company, and TRUE Linkswear golf shoes were born, one of the hottest and most popular golf shoe brands in the world. In this weeks episode we speak with Jason Moore, Co-Founder and Brandon Wallach, VP of Marketing at TRUE.
At TRUE they make holistically designed technical wear, inspired by their adventures, built to adapt to whatever weather, challenge, activity or terrain you are facing. They want their shoes to be your favorite shoes, not just your favorite golf shoes. Their hope is that your TRUE’s experience the course, the office, a dirt path, the sideline of your kid’s sports game, and wherever else your feet take you. To this end, every pair they make is designed to perform both on and off the course, keeping you comfortably in stride so you can #enjoythewalk through your everyday life.

In this week's episode I interview my good friend and fellow YouTuber Matt Fryer who shares his story of how he went from 0 - 215,000 subscribers, and over 32 million views in just a few short years.

His passion has always been the game of golf, how it has been played, and how to improve it. With the guidance of his father, Adrian Fryer, a Fellow Member of the P.G.A., Matt has now embarked on the same route, hoping to become a great coach and further his already vast knowledge of the game and help golfers of all levels play to their full potential. With an easygoing yet informative and driven approach to coaching, Matt is quickly establishing himself as a coach anyone would enjoy improving with.

Since the beginning, every product they make is meant to tell its own story. They are proud and grateful to their Makers and Administrative staff who work tirelessly together to overcome the challenges of small business in the modern era. They are grateful to their partners, customers, and vendors who have combined together to embrace and permit them to become the most sought-after accessory maker in golf.
In this week episode I interview my good friend legendary golf instructor Jim McLean, who is one of the most prolific golf instructors of the last 30 years. He is known for coining the phrase “X-Factor”, observing that the greater the differential between the hips and shoulders at the top of the swing, the more power the golfer can create. He pioneered the use of video for golf instruction and was one of the first adopters of radar technology used in swing analysis tools like TrackMan.
He is also authored and sold over 15 different books and videos, and taught some of the greatest golfers of our generation. Including, Sergio Garcia, Curtis Strange, Gary Player, Bernard Langer, Al Geiberger, US Open champions Liselotte Neumann, Jane Geddes, Lauri Merten, Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, Webb Simpson, and Hal Sutton to just name a few. Actually, its over 100 PGA tour players but who is counting.
Jim McLean is CEO of the Jim McLean Golf School, which operates from eight locations.
In this week episode I interview my good friend, Ian Zubkoff, the Executive Vice President of Super Stroke to discuss the amazing growth of this iconic golf brand.
Not too long ago, all golfers basically used the same grips. SuperStroke was created to change that. In 2009, they launched a radically different line of putter grips. They knew they would help golfers shoot lower scores. What they didn’t know was how quickly they would change the game.
To date, SuperStroke grips have been used to earn more than $500 million in major championships and PGA Tour events. They’ve also helped amateurs around the world shoot career-low rounds and earn important bragging rights over friends and family.
As scientific as golf has become, it will always be a game that blends art and science. And that’s just as true when it comes to golf grips. From driver to putter, we all golf our own unique way. Our bodies are different. Our swings are different. We all need different things to play our best.
At SuperStroke, it’s their mission to help golfers make every swing and every stroke the best it can possibly be.

In this week's episode Paul interviews Lashan Wanigatunga the CEO of Two Guys with Balls. Pretty much the best name for a company. Based in Wisconsin, Lashan created Two Guys With Balls out of his passion for golf, and he lost a lot of golf balls. He believes that everybody should be able to enjoy this great game without having to worry about the $4 you just shanked into the woods.
He knew there had to be a better way! A better way that was easier than endless practice sessions of trying to perfect that golf swing. Yes, practice so you hit that fairway every time, but that won’t happen overnight (or ever for some of us). A better way, that doesn’t include fishing for lost balls in the woods (leave that to us).
In this week's episode Paul interviews YouTube, TikTok , and Instagram star Remec Carlson, aka the CEO of Golf. With collaborations with some of the biggest brands and influencers in golf Remec has been crushing video content his unique style in teaching and having on fun when on the course.
