Jennifer Norman is a Korean-American adoptee, single mom, and the Founder & Chief Human Officer of The Human Beauty Movement (The HBM), a Certified B Corporation on a mission to instill every human with the beauty of self-love. She is passionate about diversity appreciation, humanitarianism and inspiring others to be their most exceptional self. 

In the episode, Jennifer talks about her beginnings in the beauty industry before going through a life-altering sequence of experiences once her son turned 2-years-old. She shares how her son has been her biggest inspiration when it comes to how she views beauty, and how he has been her greatest teacher in this lifetime. Hear about her book series that teaches about diversity and radial exclusivity, as well as some practices she has adopted to embrace her beauty and maturing journey.

Sunaina Madhav Dasi is a multidimensional human that holds many identities. They immigrated from Bangalore, India in 1996 and identify as a mixed race person (Indo-Aryan and Dravidian) who speaks Tamil as their mother-tongue. Their yoga practice is deeply rooted in Hinduism, Bhakti and social justice in which they create a more community-centered world that focuses on individual healing by embracing one's unique purpose. They believe that the answer is already within us when we choose self-love, accountability and awareness. 

In the episode, we talk to Sunaina about their heritage and how it has directly impacted their identity. We also discuss body hair as self-love and self-expression, as well as what it means to give someone's heart to The Divine. Sunaina shares about a very powerful experience they had during a yoga practice, and how they aim to choose simplicity everyday. This episode is truly conscious expanding!
