#83 Balancing The Mighty Vata With Vignesh Devraj
Season 1 · Episode 83
jeudi 24 juin 2021 • Duration 17:41
Vata = Space + Air
In its highest form, it is Prana - the life force that runs through all living beings.
Vata, when balanced, optimised and regulated, is Prana.
Vata, when imbalanced, leads to dryness, pain, anxiety, fear, burnout, tiredness, and many other idiopathic* diseases.
*Idiopathic means disease of unknown origin in modern medicine
The main reason behind the effectiveness of Ayurveda in managing chronic and so-called incurable diseases, is the understanding of the concept of Vata.
Because of its formless nature, it cannot be identified in a laboratory, or in a blood test. Vata imbalance is the common reason behind all your test results being clean, while you are still experiencing discomfort and health issues in your body.
Vata is usually the unknown culprit in such situations, and when balanced and corrected, it's like pulling that one single thread that can untangle the whole knot of diseases in the body.
