This might be one of the most "triggering" remarks that parents make to people who don't have kids. If you wanted kids, you sure don't feel very lucky, right? In fact, you might feel pretty unlucky.
Have you had this scenario come up before? I have and I'm going to walk through the steps I used to handle it with love and kindness.

So many childless and childfree women hate this question. A simple "no" answer often leads to awkward silences or the other party trying to back track or fill the space. After I had my first miscarriage, I didn't join a support group. I didn't look for online resources for navigating grief after a miscarriage. I didn't go to therapy, at least not right away and not because I thought I needed help recovering from my miscarriage. I did nothing to try to help myself heal.
In this episode, I'm going to tell you why I didn't do any of these things, what belief I had that kept me from from actively working on my grief and what it meant for my emotional health.

One of the complaints I here most often after a miscarriage is how challenging it is to keep your relationship together. It might feel like your partner is moving forward more quickly than you after your miscarriage. Or at least grieving very differently. And it can lead to misunderstandings and resentment.
But your partner may need more support than you realize.
In this episode, I dig into some of the thoughts running through your partner's mind after a loss and the emotion that underlies those thoughts. It's going to help you get a better understanding of how your partner might be feeling and, even better, inspire some compassion for him or her.

Do you have emotional triggers that keep you feeling angry or hurt by friends or family? Of course! We all have them after a miscarriage.
Most women just navigate through the grief wishing people would stop triggering them, waiting for the grief to go away, believing that it's out of their control.
But it's not. If you can heal the pain that's underneath your triggers, you won't have to feel like everyone is pushing your buttons. I'll show you how to do that in this episode, using snippets from my own personal journal as examples.

I share with you my absolute best tools for healing after a miscarriage or infertility in this episode. I call them miraculous because they really are. They changed my entire life. And drastically.
After my first miscarriage, I had no idea how to heal emotionally from my loss. I did what I'd heard others say to do: keep busy, get back to work, avoid talking about it. And none of that worked. I believe that I simply learned to adjust to the empty feeling inside of me. I didn't actually heal from it.
I want you to heal. Once I learned the tools that would help me heal, I used them voraciously. And they worked. They still work. I use them all the time, whenever I feel a trigger, whether it stems from my losses or from something else.
