Damir Senic is originally from Croatia and picked up his love of 247 BMWs from his father. Damir is now a resident of Colorado and his latest project—a 1977 R75/7— is a wonderful video series that captures nearly every aspect of a complete teardown and rebuild as well as a postscript with a few add’tl repairs and modifications, after the break in miles. If you are not familiar with her, she was the first British woman to circle the globe on a motorcycle but that’s only part of her story. She’s also an accomplished architect and still active in the motorcycle scene in the UK. Many of you have read her book, Lone Rider and if not, a good one to put on the to do list for sure. Elspeth still owns and rides the 60/6 among a few other bikes, so we’ll chat about that lessons from her trip and a number of airhead topics this week on the program.
