“How did you come into close communication and connection with Yeshua?” Growing up behind the Iron Curtain, in East Germany — where religion was shunned — I still had a deep yearning to know God intimately from an early age. In my first ever diary, on page one, I copied a poem from my Catholic great-great grandmother. It translates something like this: To seek God is life.To find God is death.To possess God is eternity. I was eight years old. Clearly, the mystic had always been alive in me. At 38, I would still fill volumes of notebooks, now with 2-way-prayer entries talking to God and Jesus/Yeshua. The three decades in between, however, were filled with a lot of resistance towards Christianity and any kind of organised Abrahamic religion. Like so many others, I identified as spiritual, but not religious. I searched for awakening through meditation and various Eastern traditions. However, it was through tantra that Jesus and Mary came to the forefront of my life again! If you want to hear some of these unusual stories, listen to my chat with Anni. Last summer, at a gathering for Mary Magdalene’s feast day, I met a new soul-sister. She had just begun opening to Mary, and later that summer, after we’d met privately, her heart opened to Yeshua as well. Now it is autumn. We’re sitting on her blue velvet couch, sipping cappuccino, and she is telling me about the difficult season she had just gone through— and how, in the middle of it, she remembered to pray and ask them for help. One afternoon, she’d felt the presence of Yeshua and Magdalene surrounding her. What followed, she described as being showered in Love and Light— leaving her more peaceful than she had felt in a very long time. As I listen to her, I feel Christ’s presence beginning to stir within me—like a hand gently raised, whispering: “Let Me speak now, Beloved.” I quiet my mind. I soften my body. And the words come pouring out, like a stream of living water. She reaches for her phone and presses record. What emerged from that afternoon is what I want to share with you today.
