In this episode of The Quantum Health Connection, we sit down with Marco Ruggeri who is a homeopath, software developer and founder of Similia, an online platform for homeopaths and students. He holds a Licentiate from the Centre for Homeopathic Education (LCHE). His work brings together homeopathic practice and technology, with tools for repertory search, materia medica study and case management. Through Similia, he explores how AI can make homeopathic source material easier to search and work with. Alongside developing the platform, Marco offers online consultations. His interests include the future of homeopathy software, the possibilities and limitations of AI.
Marco shares his personal journey from discovering homeopathy as a patient to becoming a practicing homeopath and developing software to address the challenges he experienced with traditional repertory programs.
✨ In this episode, we explore:
🌀 How Similia's unique "semantic search" bridges the gap between everyday language and traditional (and at times archaic and hard to find!) repertory terminology
🌀 How Similia helps practitioners navigate more than 200,000 rubrics and over 6,000 remedies
🌀 Powerful but controversial AI tools for facial analysis, constructing case timelines, session transcription and analysis, and organizing client information
🌀 How different repertorization algorithms can support remedy analysis
🌀 The importance of data privacy, open-source AI, and the future of offline functionality and how Marco is actively working on solutions to all these concerns (such as a beta offline version currently available)
🌀 Why AI should support—not replace—the homeopath's experience, intuition, and relationship with the client
We also get a live demonstration of Similia's features and discuss how technology can help homeopaths spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time connecting with the people they serve.

#176 The Quantum Connection Between Mitochondria, Homeopathy & Consciousness with Judyann McNamara
Heather and Vanessa interview Judyann McNamara, DHom, CCH, ND, ex-quantum physicist/biologist researcher, and homeopath-founder of the MICH Academy for Holism and Classical Homeopathy.
Fascinated by life and living processes, consciousness and spirituality, but disappointed with the incomplete answers biology and medicine provided, Judyann sought to understand the energetic dimension emerging from consciousness that underlies our biology. As neither biophysics nor quantum biology were recognized disciplines in 1976, Judyann did both as separate disciplines and continued in physics research. In 1980 she witnessed the traces left on detectors by biophotons emitted by living cells. This led to studying and being qualified in subtle energy fields, Reiki, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy, Naturopathy and Qigong.
Holism, the metaphysical container for Quantum Biology provided the container for all the practices. Recognizing how essential the paradigm shift from mechanism to holism is for the healing of humanity, she founded the International Association of Holistic Professionals. The IAHP’s Friday morning experiential workshops explored healing presence and our challenging cases through the process of Dialog (a la David Bohm) and inquiry. The successes of the cases dialogued, and those of her clinical practice inspired a group of therapists to want to share and teach how to naturally align with Holism as the Force of creation and evolution, with homeopathy as its central therapy in 2006. For the last 20 years, the MICH Academy for Holism and Classical Homeopathy has changed the lives of thousands of people through its the international 4 year fully accredited apprenticeship practitioner program based on one on one mentorships through live casetaking practice and continues to grow stronger.

#174 Agree or Disagree Part 2: Calories, Carbs, Fruit & the Health Myths We’re Questioning
In Part 2 of our Agree or Disagree series, Vanessa and Heather are back with another round of health topics that challenge the conventional wisdom.
Are calories really all that matters for weight loss? Are carbohydrates bad for women? Does fruit make us sick? Can you actually take too many supplements? And is more testing always better?
Vanessa and Heather unpack these questions from their own experiences and perspectives, exploring the bigger picture of health—including circadian rhythm, stress, sleep, hormones, mitochondrial health, nutrient quality, and emotional healing.
They also get personal, with Vanessa sharing how increasing her carbohydrate intake dramatically changed her energy, hormones, and libido after years of chronic illness and under-eating.
In this episode, they discuss:
Calories and weight loss: Why a calorie deficit isn't the whole story
How circadian rhythm, stress, sleep, hormones, and mitochondrial health can influence metabolism
Whether tracking macros is helpful—or potentially harmful—for different people
Why Vanessa believes adequate carbohydrates are especially important for women's health
The relationship between carbohydrates, libido, hormones, energy, and metabolic health
Heather's experiences with keto and carnivore diets
Why fruit isn't the enemy and how seasonal, whole-food eating can change the conversation around sugar
Seasonal eating and choosing foods that make sense for the time of year
Why more supplements don't necessarily mean better health
Targeted support vs. taking a long list of supplements “just in case”
#173 The Subconscious Impact of Mind Control on Your Health with Jason Christoff
We are excited to bring you this episode with Jason Christoff, a mind control researcher. You may be thinking, "what does mind control have to do with health?", or "I'm definitely not under mind control!".
Well, we invite you to listen to this extremely important episode, and then let us know if your opinions have changed! Mind control leads us to unwittingly self-sabotage, and Jason is an expert in teaching how to recognize and mitigate the negative impact of this on our health.
Jason has studied mind control for many years, and he has spoken on mind control to the US Senate as well as to the European, Japanese and Romanian Parliaments. Jason also wrote and directed a free and excellent documentary, Planet Mind Control, that clearly shows how the ruling group weaponizes mind control against the general public constantly. You can watch Jason's documentary for free at www.planetmindcontrol.com (we dare you!).
What if some of the choices you make every day—what you eat, what you believe, what you consume, and even how you respond to fear—aren’t entirely your own?
Jason was a former fitness club owner and health educator who became deeply interested in the ways media, repetition, group dynamics, and subconscious programming can influence human behavior. He shares his personal journey of awakening to these ideas, beginning with questions about conventional nutrition guidelines and eventually leading him to study kinesiology, human behavior, and group dynamics. He explains how he began recognizing patterns in his own body and why he describes it as a kind of “walking lie detector”—responding differently when he encountered information he felt was true versus information that conflicted with his instincts.
From food and health recommendations to movies, television, advertising, social expectations, and fear-based messaging, Jason challenges listeners to become more aware of what they are repeatedly exposing themselves to.
In this episode, we explore:

🌿 How sunlight, essential oils, and self-love can become part of a holistic skincare practice
🌿 Laurel's 90-Day Skin Rejuvenation Journey and her new Botanical Safety App
Caring for your skin can is so much more than trying to “fix” how you look: it can be a practice of connection, self-love, releasing old patterns, and coming home to yourself.
#171 We Agree to Disagree: Questioning Everything We’ve Been Told About Health
In this episode, Heather and Vanessa put their opinions on the table and ask: Do we actually agree?
Breakfast. Vitamin D. Detoxes. Coffee. Sunscreen. Raw milk. Parasite cleanses. Homeopathy. And even the idea that healing is supposed to be hard.
We don’t see everything the same way which is exactly what makes this conversation so interesting.
We talk about why our beliefs around health need to be allowed to evolve, why what works for one person may not work for another, and why supplements, research, and outside advice can never completely replace learning to understand your own body.
We also dive into the deeper side of healing: stress; emotions; spirituality; gratitude; trusting yourself; and recognizing that true health is about so much more than what you take.
Because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. And you don’t have to blindly follow someone else’s rules to get healthier.
🎙 Listen to the episode and let us know what do YOU agree or disagree with!

This week on the podcast, Heather and Vanessa are joined by Miro Posavec, founder of Bestmade Natural Products, for a fascinating conversation about homeopathy, cell salts, remedy manufacturing, food, and what it really means to look at the whole person.
Miro’s journey into homeopathy began with his own son’s health, and eventually led him from practicing classical homeopathy to building a homeopathic pharmacy that has grown from shipping a single box of remedies in 2004 to working with suppliers and customers around the world.
We talk about:
✨ Miro’s journey into classical homeopathy and why he eventually left practice
✨ How Bestmade Natural Products grew over the last 20+ years
✨ Cell salts—what they are, how they’re made, and how Miro uses them
✨ Why he believes diet and obstacles to cure need to be addressed alongside remedies
✨ Classical remedies vs. newer, less-proven remedies
✨ Combination remedies and when Miro finds them useful
✨ His experience with remedy provings, and one particularly wild proving experience that changed his understanding of empathy and intuition
✨ Favorite remedies, flower essences, and some fascinating cases from his years of practice
✨ The importance of traditional food practices and what we’ve lost in modern life
✨ Regulatory challenges facing homeopathy
✨ His new 120-remedy kit and the Fast Remedy Picker software
✨ And so much more!
I especially loved hearing Miro’s perspective as someone who has spent decades not only studying and practicing homeopathy, but actually manufacturing remedies and seeing how they perform in the real world with thousands of customers.

Judyann continues to keep a toe in research by collaborating with Drs Martin Picard and Nirosha Murugan. Martin and Judyann developed the ground-breaking Energy Resistance Principle during our dialog sessions last year. Picard's upcoming book Energy has been designed to help readers make the important paradigm shift from the chemical-mechanical model of health to one that is based on Energy and the human experience.
Judyann describes mitochondria as quantum organelles operating at the boundary between the material and immaterial—connecting us to the quantum field while transforming captured light into energy. We explore why understanding health may require us to move beyond a purely mechanistic view of the body and toward a truly holistic one.
We dive into:
✨ Why mitochondria may be understood as a bridge between the material and immaterial
✨ The connection between mitochondria, consciousness, and quantum fields
✨ How homeopathic remedies communicate information through energetic signatures
✨ Why the experience of a symptom may be more important than simply naming the symptom
✨ How the default mode network, overthinking, anxiety, and living in our stories can consume enormous amounts of energy
✨ Why presence, nature, connection, and heart intelligence may support mitochondrial health
✨ Disease as a call toward greater wholeness
✨ Moving beyond dualistic thinking and learning to hold opposing experiences as interconnected polarities
✨ Why some people become stuck in victim/perpetrator narratives and how shifting perspective requires energy
✨ The idea of experiencing ourselves as events rather than objects or nouns
✨ How different homeopathic modalities—from remedies and complexes to flower essences and cell salts—can work across different energetic levels
✨ Sensitivity, mitochondrial information processing, and why some people respond so strongly to both disease and remedies
✨ Potency, information, entropy, and what happens when too much information is introduced at once
✨ And how developing greater awareness of our body's signals can help us become active participants in our own healing
One of our favorite themes from this conversation is the idea that suffering itself can be understood as a longing for wholeness—and that healing may involve moving beyond the belief that we are separate from ourselves, each other, nature, and the greater whole.
This is a deep conversation that bridges homeopathy, quantum biology, consciousness, and the human experience in a really fascinating way.
