Exposed: The Secret Weapon Satan Uses to Stop Your Assignment
mardi 29 juillet 2025 • Durée 53:40
There’s a hidden weapon the enemy has used for generations to silence voices, derail purpose, and discredit those on divine assignment—and it’s making a comeback.
Nehemiah faced it.
Jeremiah endured it.
Even Jesus Himself wasn’t exempt.
But this weapon didn’t come with swords or armies. It came through influence, perception, and systems of power. And what’s more chilling? Satan plans to use it again—and you could be his next target.
In this episode, we uncover the pattern, expose the strategy, and prepare you to recognize the signs before it strikes. If you’ve been feeling resistance, rejection, or confusion around your calling… this video is your wake-up call.

Can You Really Be Anointed to Excel In Business? w/ EJ Gaines
mardi 31 janvier 2023 • Durée 52:10
Being anointed is often be seen as synonymous with a platform or a feeling you have after experiencing someone gifted, but it's much more than that. I got to have an amazing conversation with EJ Gaines about being anointed for business, and let's be clear...EJ IS an anointed businessman.
Erik Justin (“EJ”) Gaines is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Capitol CMG and Co-Executive Director of Motown Gospel, divisions of Capitol Records/Universal Music Group. An entertainment lawyer and former artist manager with 20 years of experience in the music business, EJ Gaines has guided the careers of GRAMMY Award-winning recording artists, producers and songwriters, as well as producers and talent in film and television.
In his current role as Senior VP of Marketing, Capitol CMG/Co-Executive Director of Motown Gospel, EJ Gaines oversees marketing and commercial partnerships for over a dozen artists on the roster of the world’s largest Christian music label, including Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Jeremy Camp, Newsboys, Tye Tribbett and Brian Courtney Wilson. Most recently, he oversaw the marketing campaigns for Harry Connick Jr.‘s award-winning project, 'Alone With My Faith', Tori Kelly’s GRAMMY-winning 'Hiding Place', and Tasha Cobbs Leonard’s acclaimed 'Royalty: Live at The Ryman'.
In this episode, EJ dived into:
- How EJ prevents himself from wrapping his identity into his job
- The role his faith plays in how he operates in the music industry
- EJ's definition of anointed
- Why he believes he's anointed to do the work he does
- How embracing his anointing changed how he views his work
- How he prevents his career and purpose from overshadowing his relationship with God and the time he spends with Him

Marriage Literacy and How to Date With a Purpose w/ Pastor Ray Murray
mardi 24 janvier 2023 • Durée 01:03:22
Marriage and dating are two topics that are not covered in depth enough from a holiness perspective. I invited Pastor Ray Murray on the show to provide insight on how we can improve our approach to dating and marriage and approach them from a more strategic angle.
Ray Murray (P. Ray) is a man on a mission. He has accepted the call to be a voice to a generation that just wants the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ… a group of people unwilling to accept the phrase “that’s just the way it is.”
Whether in the pulpit delivering messages or standing on public stages sharing inspiration and encouragement, he stands comfortably in the intersection between life and scripture with a conversational style that is a unique blend of honesty, humor and insight.
In this episode P. Ray and I dicussed:
- Marriage literacy
- Five questions every couple should ask before getting married
- The importance of knowing your purpose before marriage
- Why you should have a vision for your marriage
- How to date with a purpose

How One Incremental Step Can Lead To Massive Leaps w/ Jalon Webster
mardi 17 janvier 2023 • Durée 45:05
We often talk about going from A to Z but rarely do we laser in and focus on what it takes to get from A to the very next step, which is B. In this episode, Jalon Webster breaks down how he took small steps that eventually led to him taking a massive leap.
Founder of the GoldenHour Brand and Create Gold Foundation, and former barber to the stars in Los Angeles, Jalon Webster is now a speaker and author. Proud native from San Fernando Valley, CA, Jalon is no stranger to the bright lights that come along with being from and “in” this city.
Jalon's deep rooted faith in God continuously allows him to grow as an individual and also see the light in each and every person. Love is the only language universally understood. Jalon’s uncanny ability to connect and dive beneath the surface with anyone in all walks of life stems from his background in the service industry and has now taken those skills to the masses.
In this episode, Jalon breaks down:
- How Jalon got his start in the male grooming industry
- Why it's important to make yourself uncomfortable before life does
- The role his faith plays in his business
- ...and much more!

The people around you matter. When you set out to do the powerful work of God designed you for through your purpose, there will be obstacles. There is nothing like having a community of faith-filled Believers who rally to support you. This is why I invited the founder of Black Christian Influencers (BCI) on the show.
In this episode, Jackie and I discuss:
- When she realized community building was her gift
- Why she formed a community for Black Christian Influencers
- Why it's necessary for Christians to have community
- Challenges she has faced in building this community for Christians

Why Greatness is a Choice and How to Be Great
mardi 3 janvier 2023 • Durée 36:37
Your purpose requires greatness. You are called to be great through your purpose. God wants you to dominate through your purpose. He wants you to get results that other people are not and cannot get. He wants you to be superior in skill, superior in knowledge, and superior in impact.
I woke up one day with an urgency to do this episode about greatness and how to be great. Before I get into the meat and potatoes of this episode I want to say that this episode is not for everyone.
- If you are okay with being average, then this episode is not for you
- If you are someone who says “it don’t take all of that” when you see other people going above and beyond to accomplish something, this episode is not for you
Here’s who this episode is for.
- This episode is for the person who knows they were created to do something great and they want to be the best version of themselves as they walk in that
- This episode is for the person who doesn’t mind looking like they’re “doing too much.” Truth is, you’re always going to be too much for people who don’t do much. - Myleik
- This episode is for the person who wants to show up in excellence but doesn’t quite know what to do to achieve it
If you believe this episode is for you, then definitely check it out!

REWIND: The Purpose of Sex w/ Mo Isom Aiken
mardi 27 décembre 2022 • Durée 57:28
"Sex. I don’t think we’re talking about it enough." This is how Mo Isom begins her life-changing book Sex, Jesus, and the Conversations the Church Forgot. This line hooked me, which led me to take this book with me on vacation.
Mo is a popular blogger, a national speaker, and the New York Times bestselling author of Wreck My Life. A former All-American goalkeeper for the Louisiana State University soccer team, she has been featured in Sports Illustrated and has appeared on ESPN SportsCenter Top-10 Plays, Ellen, ESPN, CBS, The 700 Club, and countless other platforms. Mo is married to her husband Jeremiah and together they have 4 beautiful children.
In this episode we covered…- The purpose of sex
- The advice she has for someone who wants to intentionally reframe their view of sex to God's way
- Encouragement for single men and women who are abstaining from sex until marriage but are finding it hard to find someone willing to wait
- What Mo believes couples should discuss that will help them be prepared for the inevitable sexual temptation that will present itself
...and much more!
