We explore the world of college football marketing with ISU's Associate AD for Marketing, Mary Pink. Mary has over 25 years of experience working for the university to promote their sports programs, running ticket sales campaigns on traditional and social media.

Mary has a unique perspective witnessing first hand, the transition from traditional media to digital to stay in front of vested audience groups including students, alumni, donors, and others.

Iowa State Athletics has positioned itself as a social media juggernaut in recent years, racking up record engagement and record annual revenue — $13.3 million, to be exact.

As part of her duties, Mary oversees a $1.2 million budget and heads the strategy behind the athletics department's wildly popular social media channels. Mary will be discussing her approach to social media engagement and the development of Iowa State's growing fandom.
