We talk about his 50 years in the independent publishing spaces, black comics, and some of the bright lights that made the scene happen. Hayden's works were included in the MCA's Chicago Comics:1960 to Now and the book "It’s Life as I See it: Black Cartoonists in Chicago, 1940–1980."
