The podcast this week features the first-ever hosting appearance from Full Metal Hackett, as he joins Moose to discuss the festival that was Download 2025, an event that some are saying was the best Download *ever*!

In episode 440 of the Primordial Radio Podcast, Moose and Pete discuss the sudden rise of the new band President. The guys explore how, with no public history, they suddenly landed on the Download Festival lineup, racked up a million YouTube views in two weeks, and sparked debate over industry plants and media manipulation. 

The band’s anonymity, theatrical videos, and sharp production immediately drew comparisons to Sleep Token. And there’s a reason: both acts share the same management. Rumours point to Charlie Simpson as the man behind the voice, and while he’s never confirmed it, the vocal similarity is striking. If it is Simpson, does that count as skipping the queue, or is it simply the reward of 20 years’ graft?

But it’s not just about masks and mystery. They also discuss the lineup for Download Festival 2025, bands they're looking forward to seeing, Black Sabbath’s upcoming global stream, and why the £25 price tag is justified.

Yeah, that podcast title is a total lie, although Moose and Dews do start out by discussing some of the realities faced by those running a business - particularly an online one - in 2023. They also get chatting about the recent Glastonbury festival coverage, in particular that of rock legends Guns N' Roses.
