79. Soul Psychology Will Change Your Life — with Suzi Lula

mercredi 13 novembre 2024Durée 47:55

👇 Join our Soul Psychology Certification waitlist Suzi Lula – Wisdom Teacher, Spiritual Therapist

Next certification starts on January 30, 2025

👉 Imagine this: A young child falls off their bike, scrapes their knee, and runs to their mom.

Sure, they need a band-aid, but what they really need is an emotional hug.

That “Oh my gosh, honey, I can see you’re hurting. I’m right here for you” kind of hug.

It’s the hug that heals, not the band-aid.

The same goes for our emotional wounds — they need to be met and healed at the emotional level, not just the intellectual level. 🧠❤️

🎙In this week’s episode of *Permission to Thrive,* I’m diving deep into the transformative power of Soul Psychology and why healing from the heart, the soul, is essential.

Here’s what you can expect to learn from this episode:

🌀 the importance of studying not just the mind but the soul,

🌀 how modern psychology is missing an important step in the healing process,

🌀 a tip for how to call safety and compassion into your heart throughout your healing journey.

Healing isn't just about understanding what's wrong — it's about feeling it and bringing love and compassion to those parts of ourselves.

I am so passionate about this subject, and I can’t wait for you to listen!

This solo convo will nourish you on a soul level 💙.

78. Q&A with Geno LaPlaca and Suzi Lula

mercredi 6 novembre 2024Durée 57:49

Fun fact: I took a meditation class when I was 16 y/o because I thought the teacher was cute 😏. Decades later, here I am – meditating every single day without fail!

While my original reason for getting into meditation wasn’t entirely “spiritually-focused,” it turned out to be one of the biggest blessings of my life.

That practice has been the most powerful tool in my journey from my “messy” moments to becoming the more mindful, present person I aim to be today (though, trust me, we all have our days).

In this week’s episode of *Permission to Thrive*, I dive into:

🌀 the gratitude I have for my dark and lonely childhood experience,

🌀 the power of having a safe person — and why it’s equally important to learn how to create that safety within ourselves,

🌀 how meditation has been my anchor through it all, helping me heal from past wounds and find calm in the chaos.

🎙 New episode is out TODAY!

👉Tune if you’re curious about how these tools can help you on your own healing journey!

ADDICTION is such a layered life experience

Growing up in a family where addiction was/is present can teach us false beliefs about control and what it means to be worthy.

We often think that if we're just “good enough”, we can “fix” things or people around us. This episode is a heartfelt exploration of these themes and more.

I am so grateful for my guest, Joye Madden, one of my amazing Soul Psychology Coaches, for being willing to be so vulnerable and open with me during this conversation, and I just know that her insights will make you feel seen and heard.

🎙In Episode 69 — “Healing Family Trauma with Joye Madden” — we discuss:

🌀 how the survival skills we develop as kids can turn into unhealthy coping strategies as adults,

🌀 the need to accept that you can't please everyone (and that this is not only, OK, but ultimately so FREEING),

🌀 the powerful lesson of not taking anything personally (and I really mean ANYTHING).

Tune into this week's episode of *Permission to Thrive* and absorb some wonderful wisdom from this very special guest, Joye Madden, who shows us what doing the work looks like!.

Whether you struggle with addiction or know someone who does, this episode is for you 💙.

mercredi 21 août 2024Durée 33:05

Hi everyone,

This is a very spontaneous, personal and vulnerable conversation about long term relationships!

Today, I’m talking about my 22-year marriage / spiritual partnership with Jami and what I’ve learned about myself and what I’ve learned about creating thriving long term, intimate relationships.

I this episode, I talk about:

🌀 Marrying MYSELF first and foremost and what that looks like to me

🌀 My marriage mantra: I didn’t get married to stop dating!

🌀    How I’ve gotten through some of the challenging times

🌀 My “Inner Divorce” that actually SAVED my marriage

🌀 How we transform this antiquated institution of marriage into a true spiritual partnership

🌀 how a commitment to your partner is equally a commitment to yourself

🌀 the importance of “dating yourself” and how it enhances the energy in your relationship

how thinking of your relationship as a Spiritual Partnership rather than a marriage can transform your relationship

🌀 how negative self-talk is hurting your partnership as well as yourself

If you want to thrive in your relationships, this episode is for you.
