Jordan Gill: How to Turn Your IP Into AI-Powered Micro Tools (That People Actually Pay For)
mercredi 4 mars 2026 • Durée 32:39
If you've ever stared at your business IP and thought "there has to be a way to turn this into a product that doesn't require me" — this episode is your permission slip.
I'm sitting down with Jordan Gill, founder of Systems Saved Me, who went from teaching VIP days to building custom software tools — without being a developer. We're talking micro tools, vibe coding with Lovable, and how Jordan turned a voice-note-to-content idea into a product that 700+ people have purchased.
We get into:
- What a "micro tool" actually is (spoiler: Jordan made the term up and it stuck)
- Her journey from hiring developers on Upwork to building her own tools with Lovable
- How her viral product Carpool Content turns voice notes into polished content for 9 platforms
- The smart way she keeps backend costs low (hint: users connect their own storage)
- How to decide if your idea should be a course, a service, or a micro tool
- Why custom GPTs might be on the way out — and what to build instead
- One of the wildest micro tools a student built (a book club organiser that pulls bestseller lists via API and lets members vote on the next read — I mean, come on)
- Plus the AI Confession Booth gets… dermatological 👀
Whether you're sitting on frameworks, processes, or just a really good Zapier workflow that deserves better — this one's for you.

Should You Switch to Claude? (Honest Take)
mardi 24 février 2026 • Durée 19:37
Everyone's losing their minds about Claude right now. And honestly? Fair. But before you cancel your ChatGPT subscription, there are a few things you need to know.
In this episode I'm giving you the honest breakdown — what Claude actually does differently, where ChatGPT still wins, and how to figure out which one fits how you actually work. Plus the exact workflow I use with Claude every single day.
No fanboy energy. No affiliate links. Just a founder who uses both telling you what's what.

The Stack Method That Got Me to Six Figures (STEAL MY AI STRATEGY)
Saison 1 · Épisode 9
mardi 9 décembre 2025 • Durée 24:15
A year ago, I was copying and pasting between AI and my tools.
Now I'm running a six-figure business with AI embedded into everything. Here's the framework that changed it.
Episode Summary
- The shift from dabbling to building: Why working harder isn't the answer — getting strategic is
- Chat mode vs. real AI systems: How to tell if you're stuck (spoiler: you probably are)
- The STACK Method — the five-step framework I use with every founder:
- Strategy: What's your actual business goal for 2026?
- Tools: What are you working with and is your IP accessible to AI?
- Actions and AI: Pick ONE workflow to automate, not everything
- Checkpoints: The one everyone skips (and why your systems fail without it) - Keep iterating: Treat AI like a team member, not a tool you installed and forgot
- Why 2026 is different: AI isn't a competitive advantage anymore — it's the baseline. The question is whether you'll use it strategically or keep copying and pasting while everyone else builds real systems
--- Want to go deep on AI in your business? 3 strategy sessions available before the end of the year — fully booked sessions normally, but I've opened extra spots so you can start 2026 with an actual plan (not just good intentions) Visit wrightmode.com/consulting to book

How I Built My AI Education Workshops (While Running on 11 Minutes of Sleep)
Saison 1 · Épisode 8
mardi 2 décembre 2025 • Durée 16:18
If you've ever wondered how to go from "I'll just do a free workshop and see who comes" to speaking inside global AI communities — while surviving puppy chaos and unsolicited dog parenting commentary — this one's for you.
In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on how I actually built my AI education workshops and consultancy from scratch. No fluff. No "just manifest it" nonsense. Just the real, messy, strategic journey.
In this episode, I share:
- Why I spoke inside Sabrina OV's Women in AI community (and what it meant to get that "you crushed it" DM from someone I genuinely admire)
- The stat that lit a fire under me: only 7% of Aussie women got AI training last year vs 17% of men
- My mission to teach 10,000 women how to use AI by 2026
- How I built ONE really good workshop instead of many mediocre ones
- The partnerships that changed everything — local business chambers, the WA government, and global communities
- How I've systemised the whole ecosystem (repurposing, automations, Gamma for slides, the lot)
- What you can steal from this — whether you're teaching AI or something else entirely

ChatGPT Hacks You Probably Don't Know (But Absolutely Should)
Saison 1 · Épisode 7
mardi 25 novembre 2025 • Durée 30:22
Most people don't realise half of what ChatGPT can do — and neither did you until right now. These aren't the optimisation LinkedIn vibes you've seen a million times.
This is just practical stuff that'll make your work faster, your brain calmer, and your life easier.
Episode Summary
- Turn off data sharing in settings. Go to profile → Data Controls and disable 'Improve the model for everyone.' If you're on the free version, this is your litmus test to start paying for it.
- Custom Instructions are your North Star. Write them like you're onboarding a junior staffer with zero context. Include how you think, your tone, words you hate, your unique lexicon, and your tech stack.
- Ask clarifying questions before ChatGPT guesses. Drop 'Can you ask me clarifying questions until you're 95% sure?' at the bottom of your prompt. It stops the mid responses.
- Drop in screenshots for quick summaries. Use it to restructure Notion pages, extract testimonials from DMs, or prioritise your to-do list by urgency and energy.
- Use voice mode like you'd talk to a mentor. Brain dump your tasks, commute conversations, or have it extract content ideas through Q&A instead of just asking for captions.
- Rewrite without losing your voice. Prompt it: 'Rewrite this in my tone' or 'Act as an editor, don't rewrite.' Ask why it made changes so you don't hand over critical thinking.
- Build micro-tools in Canvas. Turn spreadsheets into interactive dashboards, then ask ChatGPT to analyse what worked and what to tweak next.

What I Learned About AI, Human Connection & Doing the Work (From Shy Cafe Girl to Conference Speaker)
Saison 1 · Épisode 6
mardi 18 novembre 2025 • Durée 21:12
I spoke at Busselton's first AI conference alongside Canva, Microsoft, and HubSpot — and my neurodivergent self is still recovering (in the best way).
Here's what actually matters in the age of AI.
Episode Summary
- How I went from painfully shy to speaking on stages (and why imposter syndrome doesn't get to have a vote)
- The biggest misconception about AI: it won't replace you, it amplifies you — but only if you define your voice first
- Why "free AI tools" make YOU the product (and which data controls to switch off right now)
- Let AI do the stuff you hate so you can do the stuff you love: admin, data entry, content repurposing, drafting
- Human connection is everything in the age of AI — in-person events > online events, no contest
- One simple rule to protect your IP: if you wouldn't share it on LinkedIn, don't put it in free AI tools

I Did a Triathlon With Zero Training — Here's What I Learned About Entrepreneurship
Saison 1 · Épisode 5
mercredi 12 novembre 2025 • Durée 16:18
Picture this: I rock up to a sprint triathlon with zero training, a mountain bike, and bike pants instead of a wetsuit. Everyone else? Road bikes, tri suits, the works. I came dead last. And it was one of the best things I've ever done.
This episode isn't about athletic glory (spoiler: there was none). It's about keeping promises to yourself — the most underrated business strategy no one talks about.
I'll share:
- Why I signed up the night before — and how my word for the year (take action) pushed me past the "I'm not ready" spiral
- The ADHD trap of brilliant ideas that go nowhere — and how I finally broke the cycle of breaking promises to myself
- What quitting drinking taught me about self-trust — three months of keeping one hard promise changed everything
- The business parallel you need to hear — waiting for the perfect website/rebrand/VA/energy level is keeping you stuck
- Why your mountain bike is enough — you don't need the right gear, you just need to start with what you've got
- How self-belief actually builds — it's not affirmations, it's proof you keep showing yourself
If you've been waiting for perfect conditions to launch that thing, hire that person, or start that project — this one's for you.

🎙 AI Confession Booth: Featuring My Husband
Okay this one's gold. My husband was using ChatGPT to help him draft a casual email to a colleague named Tiffany. He asked it to make the tone friendly and approachable.
ChatGPT's suggestion? "Hey Fanny"
We LOST IT. In what universe is "Fanny" the casual nickname for Tiffany?! Maybe it is and we're just uncultured, but mate — imagine if he'd sent that as a director-level email 💀
This is your regular reminder that AI is brilliant and chaotic, and you should always read before you send.
Your turn: DM me your funniest AI fails and I'll shout them out in the next episode.
🧠 One Thing to Try This Week: Break One Small Promise You Keep Breaking
Pick the smallest promise you keep making to yourself and not keeping. Not the big scary one. The little one.
Maybe it's:
- Posting once this week (not a perfect post, just a post)
- Reaching out to one potential client
- Finishing that 10-minute task you've been avoiding for weeks
Do it. Keep the promise. Notice how it feels.
That's how self-trust builds. One tiny kept promise at a time.
And remember: your mountain bike is enough. Whatever you've got right now — the janky mic, the Canva brand, the draft website — it's enough to start.
Progress beats perfection. Every single time.

4 Simple AI Automations I'm Actually Using in my Biz (And How to Know Where to Start)
Saison 1 · Épisode 4
vendredi 7 novembre 2025 • Durée 17:42
Most people think automations are overwhelming.
But here's the thing — you don't need a fancy system to make a real dent in your workload.
I'm breaking down four automations I've built that are genuinely high-impact, plus the framework I use to figure out what's worth automating in your business.
I cover:
- Why most people get stuck with automations (and how to actually start) - The difference between automations and AI agents (and when to use each)
- Four automations I'm running: CRM intake forms → AI research agent, membership applications with smart filtering, PR opportunity catching, and email-to-Slack workflows
- My strategy framework before you build anything (hint: start with the end goal)
- Tools I use: N8N for complex workflows, Zapier for simple one-step automations, Moxie CRM, Google Sheets as your friend

Gastro, Grief + Taking time off in my business
Saison 1 · Épisode 3
mercredi 29 octobre 2025 • Durée 16:25
If you’ve ever come back from a holiday feeling more tired than before you left — you’re not broken, you’re just human (and probably neurodivergent).
In this week’s episode, I’m debriefing what actually happens when you take time off from your business — the good, the chaotic, and the gastro-on-a-plane level plot twists.
I share:
- How I prepped to fully switch off (and didn’t lose momentum).
- What unplugging from socials taught me about creativity and consistency.
- The exact AI tools I used in my first week back — from clearing my inbox to auditing my Flodesk emails.
- Why rest doesn’t always feel restful for ND founders — and what I did to manage the crash that hit after.
- The small automations I built once my brain finally had breathing room.
We’re talking nervous system hangovers, grateful tears, and automation wins — all in one episode.

✨ Your Not Another To-Do

From Corporate Burnout to AI Consultant— My Messy, Strategic, Very ADHD Journey
Saison 1 · Épisode 2
mardi 21 octobre 2025 • Durée 20:34
If you've ever felt like you're "full of potential but under-utilised," this one's for you. In Episode 2, I'm pulling back the curtain on my career chaos — from small-town Mudgee to Sydney Uni (via train… bad call), through hospital admin, insurance call centres (nightmare fuel), and eventually into local government. Spoiler: I burned out. A lot.
I'll share:
- Why I didn't get diagnosed until 35 — and how my GP finally named what I'd been living with for decades (ADHD + autism = suddenly everything made sense)
- The burnout cycle I couldn't break — sick days that turned into shutdowns, guilt spirals, and masking my way through nine-to-five life
- How building my own business changed everything — no more "making up hours," no more forcing my brain to perform on low-dopamine days
- The role AI plays now — voice-noting ideas into custom GPTs so I can actually act on them instead of letting brilliant thoughts dissolve into beach-walk brain fog
- Why I stopped drinking (12 months today, actually — holy shit) and how that + working for myself = no burnout in over a year
This episode is a little rambly, a little vulnerable, and very real. If you've ever wondered whether you could build a business that works with your brain instead of against it — stick around.
✨ Links & Resources
- My automation hack: Voice note your idea into a custom GPT (like my Content GPT), let it draft the thing, then send it straight to Notion where my VA schedules it. Zero brain drain.
- Google's NotebookLM — I'll be doing a full episode on this soon, but if you haven't tried it yet, go now. It's chef's kiss for ND brains.
- Imagen 3 (aka Nano Banana) — Google's image gen tool. I used it to make the Saved by the Bell-themed podcast tile you're probably looking at right now 😏
- Wanna work together? Head to wrightmode.com to see how we can build AI systems that actually work for your brain (not against it)
- Slide into my DMs on Instagram → @wright_mode — tell me your random AI confession or just say hi
🎙 AI Confession Booth
This week's unhinged AI use? I fed some podcast ideas into Google's Imagen 3 and asked it to make the tile look like a Saved by the Bell intro. Did it work? Kinda. Am I keeping it? For now, yes. We're vibing.
Your turn: DM me the weirdest, funniest, or most chaotic way you've used AI recently and I'll shout it out in the next episode.
🧠 One Thing to Try This Week: The Low-Dopamine Day Permission Slip
Next time you wake up and your brain says "nope, not today" — don't fight it. Give yourself permission to:
- Move your body
- Sloth around guilt-free
- Work later if the energy comes back (or don't)
Episode Length: ~18 minutes
Vibe: Reflective, a little chaotic, very relatable
Best for: Founders, ADHD/autistic entrepreneurs, anyone who's ever cried in a work bathroom and thought "there has to be another way"
Catch you next time 💛
