As the founder of TOMS Shoes, Blake Mycoskie built one of the most recognized brands on the planet, gave away 100M shoes to children in need and sold it for hundreds of millions, and then he fell apart. At the peak of his success, he felt utterly empty. After a years-long journey through every therapy and treatment imaginable, Blake is finally talking honestly about the dark side of success and the reality of mental health.
In No Magic Pill, Blake travels the country to sit down with survivors, experts, and cultural icons who have looked into the darkness and found a way out. These aren’t stories of quick fixes; they are honest conversations about the daily choices, big and small, that create a path forward. Join us for a raw exploration of what actually works on the path to mental wellness.

NBA Star Kevin Love: The Breakdown That Became a Breakthrough
Saison 1 · Épisode 3
mardi 12 mai 2026 • Durée 01:03:27
When the NBA’s Kevin Love had a panic attack on the court, in the middle of a game, he knew it was a wake up call. All his life he’d used basketball as an escape from debilitating anxiety and depression, and it had finally caught up to him. In the aftermath, he forged a new path that led not only to his healing journey, but to a new calling as a mental health advocate. The first step was being open about the darkness that dominated his mind, and encouraging others to share their stories, be vulnerable, and understand they’re not alone. For anyone who has struggled in silence, anyone who has felt the crushing weight of expectations, anyone who is trying to make sense of their lives and career — this interview is for you.
In this conversation you’ll learn:
– The behind-the-scenes story of Kevin’s on-court breakdown
– The importance of speaking up, especially when you’re struggling
– How stigma around mental health hurts us all
– Why a seemingly healthy obsession can mask an underlying issue
– How the weight of expectation can take its toll, especially on young men
– How breathing techniques can refocus your mind in stressful situations
– How we can break cycles of trauma for the next generation

Can Psychedelics Get You Through Your Darkest Days? w/ Michael Pollan
Saison 1 · Épisode 2
mardi 5 mai 2026 • Durée 01:02:36
When Blake was at the lowest point in his life, a small dose of a psychoactive cacti called San Pedro showed him the truth underneath everything. He recorded the session and in this episode he shares certain moments with journalist Michael Pollan (author of How to Change Your Mind) to break down what happened. They discuss the power of pairing psychedelics with meditation, the breakthroughs that can come with ego disillusion, and the misguided assumption that’s driving the belief that AI can become conscious. Plus, how Michael’s experiencing gardening while on mushrooms inspired the opening chapter of his new book, A World Appears.
In this conversation you’ll learn:
– Why psychedelics are unlike any other drug
– The importance of set and setting when taking plant medicine
– Why light doses are often more effective than heavier doses
– How to break the pattern of ruminating thoughts
– The critical period after a psychedelic experience
– The opportunities and dangers of AI therapy

Saison 1 · Épisode 10
mardi 30 juin 2026 • Durée 48:58

– Why most mental and physical ailments, from autoimmune illnesses to depression, often stem from adverse childhood experiences
– A revolutionary way to think about ADHD and what to do if your kid has it
