Tracy, a stage 2 Neuroendocrine Cancer Thriver shares her story of holistic healing.

Tracy underwent some routine screening in July 2022 and a tumor was found in her lung. It was a rare form of neuroendocrine cancer. She immediately searched for natural ways to heal cancer when she found Chris Wark who led her to HealingStrong.

In September 2022, due to dead tissue, Tracy had a partial lung removal, bi-lobectomy, and skipped chemotherapy. She jumped in and changed her mindset, nutrition, supplementation, and was intentional with prayer. She went from anxiety and panic to having peace in God's plan.

Tracy recently had her 3 year scans and no evidence of cancer was found.

This episode continues our conversation with Olympic gold medalist Scott Hamilton, who overcame childhood health challenges to achieving success in figure skating displays the value of resilience and perseverance. Scott shares his unique story as an adopted child, along with a humorous recollection of an early ice-skating mishap that nearly stopped his career before it even began.

Scott is an Olympic Champion, cancer survivor, television broadcaster, motivational speaker, author, husband/father and eternal optimist! During his figure skating career, Hamilton’s list of achievements includes his Olympic gold medal, over 70 titles, awards, and honors. In 1990, Hamilton was inducted into the United States Olympic Hall of Fame and in that same year, he became a member of the World Figure Skating⁣ Hall of Fame.⁣

Following his mother’s passing and his own survival of stage 3 testicular cancer, Hamilton launched the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation (Cancer Alliance for Research, Education and Survivorship) in 2014, with a mission to improve cancer patient survivorship by supporting world class cancer research and the highest quality patient treatment and care. The same year, he founded the⁣ Scott Hamilton Skating Academy, in partnership with the NHL’s Nashville Predators, at Ford Ice Centers in Antioch, Bellevue and Clarksville, TN,⁣ to offer students programs to help them fall in love with ice skating.

Tekquiree Spencer, an actress, filmmaker, and now health and wellness advocate, was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 36 weeks pregnant. After her diagnosis, Tekquiree decided to pursue a primarily natural treatment approach, in addition to some chemotherapy. She received treatment from a holistic doctor, used targeted therapies, and leveraged what she learned as a child from her father, who was a juicing and wheatgrass enthusiast. Her journey led to her understanding that true healing occurs not just from what we eat, but from our mental and spiritual states as well – most notably in what we think, how we feel, and our ability to stand in truth.

Carol Robles, an attorney from NYC, was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer that resulted from her exposure to dangerous toxins at Ground Zero following 9/11. Cecilia Defoe, a former educator, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of esophageal cancer at age 51. Carol and Cecilia met at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in July 2017 during their hospital stay in which they shared a same room and surgeon. Their encounter was not coincidental, but rather predestined by God. After sharing a near death experience together on the third night, they have been sisters in Christ ever since. Carol and Cecilia credit the Holy Spirit’s intervention that night for Carol’s subsequent recovery, as well as the miraculous healing that Cecelia experienced. Their powerful story is a testimony of God’s supernatural intervention, healing grace, and mercy.

Ivelisse Page lost her father to cancer at age 13. During his struggle, her father not only came to know God, but his journey brought Ivelisse’s family to faith as well. Years later, despite having a healthy lifestyle, Ivelisse was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. She recounts her journey with her difficult diagnosis, the use of mistletoe therapy, and her decision to live in faith and fight rather than succumb to fear. Ivelisse believes God spared her life so she could bring hope to those facing cancer.

Rev. Dr. Jason Garwood and his wife Mary discuss a natural approach to healing, inspired by Mary’s battle with Lyme disease. After learning of her diagnosis in her early twenties, Mary followed a protocol advocated by cancer thriver Chris Wark, which included juicing and coffee enemas to help her body heal.
