Dangerous Conversations Episode #37: The Rich & Idol vs. Lawler feud from 1987!

This week Doug Gilbert is in Alaska, but never fear "Wildfire" Tommy Rich is here with host Gene Jackson and he's going to tell us all about the famous war that he and Austin Idol waged against Jerry 'the King' Lawler in Memphis in 1987! They go in depth on all the matches that kicked off the feud starting in December 1986 until the "blowoff" in June 1987. It's all here as Tommy breaks down how the feud began, AWA World Champion Nick Bockwinkel's role, Sid Eudy's first ever wrestling match that happened in a main event match during this feud, the infamous "posting" of both Lawler and later Tommy, the famous Steel Cage Hair vs. Hair Match, and of course the big scaffold match that took place at the conclusion. Some of these matches and the people involved haven't been discussed in any of Tommy's past interviews. Make sure you check this episode out and share with your friends!
