I BELIEVE THAT UNSUSTAINABLE DIETS AND EXERCISE REGIMENS ARE WHAT KEEP US STUCK IN THE WEIGHT LOSS AND WEIGHT GAIN CYCLE. I get you… I was you! I’ve lost weight, I’ve gained weight, I’ve felt fat, I’ve felt too skinny and everywhere in between. My eating habits and body image were disordered AF thanks to really stupid nutrition information and crazy diets. Through science-based nutrition education and mindful eating, I have found the key to having it all. It’s possible to eat delicious food, drink cocktails, exercise because you enjoy it and live in a body that you’re proud of. And I want to teach you how!

  • Summary of the Ozempic Special: A detailed breakdown of the special, including discussions on the science behind GLP-1 medications, personal stories of weight loss, the role of Weight Watchers, and the challenges of medication access.

  • My Big Takeaways and Final Thoughts: Personal reflections on the special, including concerns about the oversimplification of obesity treatment, the absence of discussions on eating disorders, and the need for a more holistic approach to weight management.

Épisode 87

mardi 6 septembre 2022Durée 39:13

Episode 87: Paige Heiden, MS, RD | Is Group Coaching Right For You? Show Notes:

On this episode of the Alix Turoff Nutrition podcast, Alix sits down with Paige Heiden, MS, RD to talk about all things group coaching. Paige is a co-coach and Registered Dietitian at Alix Turoff Nutrition and works with our group coaching program as well as 1:1 clients. In this episode, we dive into our small group coaching program in preparation for our last launch of 2022 and break down whether this program might be right for you.

Paige is a Registered Dietitian from central New Jersey. As a young adult, Paige struggled with her weight and saw nutrition as a way that could help her improve her stamina on the soccer field. Conquering these challenges led her to discover her interests in food and chemistry. Once she realized she could put the two together, she began chasing her dream of becoming an RD.

Paige received her bachelor’s degree in dietetics from the University of Delaware in June of 2019. She then went on to continue her education in Rutgers University’s School of Health Professions’ Entry-Level Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition program.
