Fasting Dice was born out of equal parts of frustration, depression, and hope. The doctors told me I had 5-years to lose weight or that could be it. I tried everything but it didn’t work long term.
Then I heard about intermittent fasting. I made good progress, especially at the start. However, I still felt like I could be doing better.
The idea behind fasting is to mimic ancient eating patterns. A caveman wasn't ordering Uber Eats whenever they wanted a Wooly Mammoth steak. There was a random element missing.
My idea was to use dice with different fasting and eating windows on them to randomize my times. Fasting Dice was born.
According to the CDC, the obesity rate among Hispanic adults is nearly 45%. One of the highest groups in the nation.
I’ve lost more than 150lbs in nine months with Fasting Dice and still going. I’ve even been asked to speak at a physician’s conference to talk about weight loss strategies.

If there is anyone who has dedicated their life to rock n’ roll, it would be Sally Steele. Immersed in rock music and entertainment her entire life, Sally started taking pictures of rock stars and celebrities backstage at age 14 in the mid ‘70s which included Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Kiss, Deep Purple and many others that were relatively unknown at the time. She moved to Hollywood in the 80’s, where she fronted several rock bands that toured both Japan and the U.S. She also landed several roles on television and in movies, along with lead and featured roles in several MTV videos which included “Hungry Eyes” with Eric Carmen and the lead role in “Little Lady” by Duke Jupiter which was in the top 10 rotation on MTV in 1984. An accomplished musician, Sally wrote and sang all the songs on all three of her CDs, with one single winning on MTV’s Basement Tapes, and another, “Alone in Love”, becoming a popular seller in Europe and Japan. In 2004, Sally decided to try her hand at publishing a rock magazine. With no prior experience but a lot of determination, she founded VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine in August 2004 and continues to publish to the present date presiding over 140+ consecutive issues With the rise of Vegas Rocks! Magazine, Sally is recognized as a celebrity in her own right with appearances on VH1 and finds herself in constant demand for personal appearances a celebrity guest, host for events, and is one of the most respected voices on the Vegas music scene.
