Sheena is the manager of Prosper at Amadeusz. Prosper supports and works with young people aged 18 to 29 with firearm-related charges to create and execute an individualized plan of support based on their needs and goals. Sheena, who is a loving mother of 7, has her own goals to reduce young person’s involvement in future violence and crime, and she is tackling those goals on her own terms. Sheena doesn't want to focus on the problem, she wants to focus on the person and approach each situation with LOVE! 

Prosper case workers facilitate continued support through transfers to varying institutions. Case workers continue to provide support after a participant’s release into the community. 

The Amadeusz education program supports young people aged 18 to 35 in working towards their educational goals. The goal of this program is to provide young people who are incarcerated with the opportunity, resources and support to complete their high school education and to explore, prepare for and attend post-secondary schooling.

Legislators in Uganda have approved some of the world’s most aggressive anti-gay laws, making it illegal to even identify as an LGBTQIA2+ person.

A Romanian judge has ruled controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan be released for jail and put on house arrest. 

The brothers have been detained since December and are being investigated on allegations of rape, people trafficking and forming an organized crime group. Both have denied wrongdoing.

Regardless of Andrew Tate's arrest or being guilty or innocent, I do not understand how this man has garnered such a huge following. I have gathered various clips from podcasts/interviews he's been done to help prove my point that no one, especially young males, should follow or support Andrew Tate.

Ralph Yarl a black 16-year-old boy, went to pick up his younger twin brothers from a friend's home. He was shot twice after going to the wrong address in Kansas City, Missouri. 

Andrew Lester, the 85 year old white man who shoot Ralph said he was "scared to death" of Ralph's size. Ralph is 170 pounds and is under 6 feet tall. 

Regardless of someone's height, size or sex none of that should give anyone the right to shoot someone in the head and then once they are on the ground shoot them in the arm. If you ask me this should be an open and shut case, but in the words of Childish Gambino,.."This Is America"

The Florida Senate on Tuesday passed a bill that would allow the death penalty for people who commit sexual batteries on children under age 12, sending the issue to Gov. Ron DeSantis.

I hope that other states pick up this bill so that it gets to the federal level, and it becomes national law.

Geoffrey Hinton, started looking at artificial intelligence more than 40 years ago, but now today, he's worried about the effects. 

I think every new piece of technology is a cause for concern but as always we will adapt. I will admit that AI is probably the biggest technological advancement ever and if not the biggest, it is in the top 5. Thus it will require a huge amount of attention, precautions and preventative laws but I don't think AI will harm us and destroy the world.

A black man was murdered on an NYC subway, and his attacker was let off with no charges. The black man, last name Neely was suffering an apparent mental health episode while he was being placed in a headlock by a fellow rider. 

Even with witness's and video, the police has yet to apply charges on the white man who killed Neely.

Steven A Smith currently considers Michael Jordan, James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bill Russell to be the four greatest players in that order. Although he thinks James is a better all-around player than Steph, Smith believes if Curry's gets his five championships and his history against James in the playoffs make the conversation at least worth of having.

US President Joe Biden says he wants new compensation rules for airline passengers impacted by flight delays or cancellations.

The new rules would require airlines to pay impacted passengers more than just a ticket refund if the airline is responsible for the disruption.

While this is a good start, I think the government should do way more. I think weather delays should be included in these new rules. Also, if airlines can delay my flight by 30 mins, I should be able to show up late and be put on standby for the next flight without paying a penalty.

Tory Lanez ​​​​​​’s request for a new trial was denied on Tuesday by Judge David Herriford. While most of the media will say that Tory was found guilty of "shooting" Megan Thee Stallion that is simply not true. 

Tory was charge and found guilty for assault with a semi-automatic firearm, possession of a concealed, unregistered firearm, and negligent discharge of a firearm. 

Assault with a firearm could mean pointing a gun at someone, or even firing in the air. It does not mean that he shot Megan.

A group of University of Wyoming sorority sisters who are suing their sorority for accepting a transgender woman into their group have broken cover to describe how they “live in constant fear in our home” — after the hulking student has become physically aroused around them.

New York City has the worst air quality in the world as smoke from Canadian wildfires rolls in. 

The smoke from Canadian wildfires is getting worse.  The NYC skylines are orange, and municipal officials told people to stay indoors. The National Weather Service does not expect things will get much better anytime soon.

What I don't understand is how is it that I'm in Quebec (where the fires are happening) but our skies are clear and we don't have all these warnings in place. Is something weird going on?

Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant’s camp claims the gun the 23-year-old showed in a May IG Live video was a toy gun. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said he’s aware of that claim and that the very issue he has is the fact that Ja was treating a gun like toy, so if it was a toy its irrelevant to him. 

I don't know why Ja's camp came up with this story. What they should have done from the very beginning is never apologized.

Andrew Tate, his brother Tristan and two Romanian citizens were indicted Tuesday on charges of human trafficking, rape and being a criminal gang, according to a statement from Romanian prosecutors.

All four accused are under house arrest pending a criminal investigation for abuses committed against seven women, accusations they have denied.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has given two companies approval to sell chicken grown from real animal cells in a lab.

Lab-grown, or cell-cultivated, meat is made by feeding a mix of nutrients to animal cells in stainless steel tanks. Companies hope the product can be an alternative to meat produced by killing animals, which has a large carbon footprint.

A lot of people are freaking out about this but like AI and everything that's new, most people are afraid of change and don't trust the government.

Carlisha Hood, 35, was inside Maxwell Street Express getting food when an argument escalated and 32-year-old, Jeremy Brown, started punching Hood, in the head. Her son pulled out a firearm, shot Brown and killed him. 

The teen shoot Jeremy once in the back, but when Jeremy started running away the teen continued shooting and that is what a judge says is wrong and why the teen and his mother are being charged with murder.

I find it ironic that this black women and her black teen son have been charged with a crime so quickly..... Makes you wonder!

The 2023 edition of the BET Awards took place Sunday June 25th at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The evening celebrated hip-hop’s 50th anniversary and featured a tribute performance to the late Tina Turner. Busta Rhymes got his flowers, Latto and Coco Jones were among the winners announced during the broadcast.

The night was setup to be amazing BUT no one showed up. Most of all the big name celebs were MIA, and they didn't even send in a video acceptance speech. 

I was really disappointed.

On Thursday The Supreme Court struck down affirmative action admissions policies used by Harvard College and the University of North Carolina to diversify their campuses.

The decision drew a sharp rebuke from the court's liberal wing, who said it rolls back "decades of precedent and momentous progress."

Not only does it roll back precedent, it rolls back 45 years of progress for blacks and minorities. This is an attack on black and minority laws.

Madonna was hospitalized with a serious bacterial infection which landed her in the intensive care unit, her manager has confirmed, and as a result will postpone her upcoming tour.

When I saw the highlight of Madonna being in the ICU I was in shock because I thought I was reading a headline that Madonna had passed away. It made me think about her, and just how legendary her carrier has been. 

Madonna has paved the way for most of the female artist in the music industry today and I wanted to give her her flowers while she can still smell them.

A small amount of a white powdery substance was found in the White House on Sunday evening, according to a person familiar with the episode, and an initial test by emergency response workers determined that it was cocaine.

I found the timing of all this to be very ironic. Last week all the headlights were about the supreme court and them reserving years of progress and now all of a sudden they find cocaine in the white house. Hmmmmm..!

Meta's Threads app debuted a day earlier than expected, offering billions of users with an alternative to Twitter amid growing frustration with the Elon Musk-owned social media service. 

Threads had been slated to be released at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on July 6, but the company on Wednesday pushed forward its countdown clock to 7 p.m. Eastern time on July 5. 

I was in line at the grocery store when I heard about the early release. I downloaded the app, and I was "threading' before I had to pay for my two items... and no one was in front of me. Yes, that's how simple it was.

A new rendition of the national anthem has drawn outrage from conservatives.

Singer-songwriter Jill Scott's version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" made headlines after she performed it Sunday at New Orleans' Essence Festival. 

Scott's rendition refers to the Black experience in America by changing almost all of the lyrics.  "This is not the land of the free but the home of the slaves."

I loved every minute of this performance and I'd say this to the conservatives. Instead of putting all of your energy into anger, trying seeing things from Queen Jill Scott's point of view, and the million of black and minorities that feel the exact same way she does.

In an effort to explain his previous comments about white nationalists serving in the military, Republican Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama sparred Monday with CNN host Kaitlan Collins over the definition of a white nationalist.

On CNN's "The Source with Kaitlan Collins," Collins asked Tuberville about comments he made earlier this year to an Alabama radio station, where he was asked if white nationalists should be allowed in the military. He responded: "Well, they call them that. I call them Americans."

Tommy is simple playing dumb for us all. He's knows exactly what a 'White Nationalist' is, he's just trying to protect all his white national radically racist friends.
