Sorry to say, that includes three Jeff Jarrett matches. But hey, Sonny Siaki is here and Gavin feels good about that! Topics include Curt Hennig's bizarre TNA theme song, Undertaker's would-be nemesis Hade Vansen, the greatest faceturn in wrestling history, and confusion over THE RUSSO FACTOR.

Somebody call Christopher Nolan because karmicknight comes back again for a trilogy of Bruce. It's that gimmick's swansong and before he goes out, things are going to get bananas! Gavin and karmicknight talk up the worst matches of NWA-TNA #19-22 and Survivor Series 02. Things get so bad that there's a match where Syxx goes into injured, gets more injured during it, and it's still not the lowest-rated match of that PPV. Otherwise, topics include GTV, the beauty of Chuck Taylor, and a discussion about the Harris Twins' alignment during this time that gets karmicknight so worked up that he turns into Charlie Day for a minute.

Spoiler alert for future episodes, Gavin is way off when it comes to that argument.

Gavin's good buddy David Burszan returns to the show and what an episode he's walked into. The two tackle the worst matches from NWA-TNA #16-18, No Mercy 02, and Rebellion 02. There is so much to talk about, such as BG James' horrendous goatee or how BG James' rampant homophobia can be weaponized against him in such a cathartic way. Just how bad was Hermie Sadler on the raceway? Was Albert secretly the gamma-irradiated version of Adam DeVine? All that and Gavin gets to explain THAT Triple H funeral segment from 2002 to David, whose life was way better before being educated. Get bizzy to the gizzy and give the ep a listen.

Hey! Wait! I got a new complaint! And that complaint is about yet another eye-rolling TNA gimmick. ZOW's guest this week is karmicknight (https://startplaying.games/gm/karmicknight) and folks, it's a long one. There is a lot to talk about, from Eric Bischoff plotting hate crimes to a TNA tag team Royal Rumble where there's no rhyme or reason as to how you earn a spot into it. Gavin and karmicknight discuss the lowest-rated matches from NWA-TNA 11, 13-15 (episode 12 was a clip show), and Unforgiven 02. Things get so crazy here that Road Dogg does his knee drop BEFORE his punch combo and it blows Gavin's mind! You can do that?!

This week there's a Dr. Zoggle in the house and our guest prescribes an unhealthy dose of Total Non-Stop Action. Things get crazy for this one as Gavin and Doc go through the worst matches from NWA TNA #7-10 as well as SummerSlam 02. Indeed, one of these things is not like the other. This episode not only features the fever dream that is the Dupp Cup Invitational but also the match that even TNA doesn't want you to see! And it's not because of Malice's awesome etch-a-sketch tattoos.

Continuing on with the TNA weekly PPVs, Gavin is joined by a returning Christie J. (Twitch.tv/thewivesanarchy). It's quite a rollercoaster ride as the two go through NWA TNA Episodes 3-6 with Vengeance 2002 thrown in there. In 2001, K-Kwik got to wrestle Bob Holly, but here in early TNA, he got to take on a real life Sparky Plugg! It wasn't very good! Otherwise, Gavin goes on a tangent about Jerry Lewis, Christie is constantly flabbergasted, and Buff Bagwell's spirit is broken due to his own homophobia. What a time!

Mass Replay's Steve Trezza and Scott Burnett stop by as WWF becomes WWE and the TNA era begins! Gavin and his guests crack open this new promotion and discuss the lowest-rated matches from Insurrextion 02, Judgment Day 02, TNA Week 1, TNA Week 2, and King of the Ring 02. Topics include "Above Average Poppa Pump" Del Rios, Gavin excitedly explaining "That's the Wall, brother!" for the umpteenth time, the Power Team cartoon, Discount Batista, and whether or not 2002 Triple H had hired somebody to wipe his ass for him.

Change is on the horizon. A new promotion is about to start weekly shows. The top wrestling company in North America is about to change its name and initials. An infamous plane ride is about to go down. Before all that happens, Gavin enjoys the calm before the storm with Kung Fu Grip as they watch the lowest-rated matches from No Way Out 02, WWA The Revolution, WrestleMania X8, WWA The Eruption, and Backlash 02. Topics include the strangest pre-show dark match of 2002, Steve Ray's Evo Moment, and whether or not the Spineroonie is comparable to a hat.

This week's guest is a returning Erin M. Fiasco, who helps Gavin discuss the lowest-rated matches from WWA Inception, Rebellion 01, Survivor Series 01, Vengeance 01, and Royal Rumble 02. The topics are aplenty, including the Anti-Montreal Screwjob, Bubba Ray Dudley giving it all to sell getting kicked in the head, Jim Ross' love of the world "percolating," Kane's comic book sister Jezebel, and whatever "Big Bun Day" is.

Anyway, WWF is the only game in town at this point, so the two watch the lowest-rated matches from King of the Ring 01, InVasion, SummerSlam 01, Unforgiven 01, No Mercy 01. They also discuss Garbage Pail Kids, Gavin sings that song from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and he brings up his bucket list of one day backing up into a large wrestler and acting silently horrified. Now that the Superstation's promotion of choice is dead and buried, Gavin decided to check out Cagematch.net's list of the 20 worst WCW matches of all time. Via this podcast, 12 of those matches have already been covered! That leaves the other eight, which Gavin goes through with the help of Mongo Underscore Ebooks (The Monumental Podcast). Whether it's a rumble (?) in a junkyard, a hardcore match with a Ms. Hancock interlude, or two separate Vince Russo cage matches, there's a lot of awfulness to discuss.

World Championship Wrestling is dead! Murdered! David Brothers, serve the first course! Yes, writer and editor and all around awesome dude David Brothers returns as we see the end of both WCW and the WWF career of Chyna. This 4thletter! re-reunion has our heroes discussing the lowest-rated matches from Greed, WrestleMania X-Seven, Backlash 01, Insurrextion 01, and Judgment Day 01. Other topics include the balance of having a Dean Malenko match center around Terri Runnels panty shots, the lost art of wrestlers drawn as South Park characters, and that questionable theme song for X-Factor.

You know how they say that "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" and "It's Raining Men" are the same event told from different perspectives? Gavin's guest this week is the man, myth, and legend who made that a reality. On the eve of hitting 50 regular episodes, ZOW welcomes in Gavin's old "went to school together, but a couple years apart" friend David Zanko. Gavin thinks otherwise, but its ending sure is pretty damn stupid!

Mac (also known online as sleepwalkers) is our guest this week, helping Gavin inch his way towards the end of the Monday Night War... except they're discussing shows that aired on Sundays. They talk about the lowest-rated matches from iGW Superstars Of Wrestling: Rodman Down Under, SummerSlam 00, Fall Brawl 00, Unforgiven 00, and Anarchy Rulz 00. Topics include the Insane Clown Posse's weird nicknames for people, the Extreme Forbidden Door, the subtleties of getting stabbed in the eye in kayfabe, and the shocking existence of Sugar Daddy!

How does the lowest-rated WCW PPV mirror the highest-rated WWE PPV? There's a lot to talk about here.

Marc Quill, fresh from writing recaps for the wasteland that is WWE SmackDown, returns as we continue onward with the madness of 2000. Gone away is the nWo 2000. Here to stay is the New Blood. The two discuss the lowest-rated matches from Living Dangerously 00, Uncensored 00, WrestleMania 2000, Spring Stampede 00, and Backlash 00. You know it's late WCW when Ric Flair is wrestling with a shirt and 90% of his offense is chops. Four of the five matches are tags, though to be fair, the other match has Sid in it and he's twice the man that Kevin Nash is, so that's kind of a tag team. Yeah? Also, Gavin comes to grips with the realization that maybe he's a Bull Buchanon fan.

This week, Gavin is joined by comic writer Lan Pitts, whose new comic Beat Every 1-Up was drawn by Joe Hunter, the guy who did the ZOW logo. Starting out the oh-so-memorable wrestling year of 2000, these two check out the worst matches from Guilty as Charged 00, Souled Out 00, Royal Rumble 00, SuperBrawl 00, and No Way Out 00. Topics include Stevie Ray's epic loogie, Bob Holly kicking out of the Pedigree in the year 2000, and the ridiculous t-shirt Gavin bought at a mall because nobody else ever would. Sure, it's a time when wrestling is at its most popular, but it's also a time when Godfather is having matches, Vince Russo is jumping between promotions, dogs are pissing all around ringside, and a fourth party decides to release the worst wrestling PPV of all time. Luckily, Gavin has help getting through this via his lifelong BFF Sean [last name redacted because he doesn't want to be associated with this podcast and is only doing it as a favor]. Gavin and Sean's Bogus Journey includes the lowest-rated matches from Unforgiven 99, Rebellion 99, Heroes of Wrestling, No Mercy 99, and Halloween Havoc 99. Topics include women's wrestlers who look like Taylor Swift, continuity errors in Mideon's pants, and Matt Pinfield from MTV's 120 Minutes.

Gavin brings in one of his favorite YouTube channel hosts in Alex the SNES Drunk. They talk all about the quote-unquote worst matches of Heat Wave 99, Road Wild 99, SummerSlam 99, Fall Brawl 99, and Anarchy Rulz 99. Despite the gimmick of this podcast series, the ECW matches are fantastic and the WWF match is decent enough. Oh, don't get me wrong, the WCW stuff is absolutely horrible, but the extreme bread of this episode's sandwich is a good time. Topics include feeling bad for Alex Wright, being confused about Ernest Miller's confederate motorcycle gloves, and Gavin basking in Alex's solid Triple H impression.

Anyway, Dan Lennane from the Rock Nerd Radio Show returns to talk about the lowest-rated matches from Over the Edge 99, Great American Bash 99, King of the Ring 99, Bash at the Beach 99, and Fully Loaded 99. While there is a lot of serious and sad stuff to talk about (again, Over the Edge 99), there are some laughs to help even things out. For instance, the match covered for Great American Bash nearly breaks Gavin. Probably the most batshit insane ending of all the 205 matches discussed on this show. The other WCW entry we got for this ep isn't all that much better either.

Gavin reaches out to his old college friend Bo Kaier to have him stop by and talk Monday Night War Era wrestling. They watch and discuss the lowest-rated matches from Spring Stampede 99, Backlash 99, Slamboree 99, No Mercy 99 (UK), and Hardcore Heaven 99. Topics include the alternate reality where Mikey Whipwreck became WWF's top star, the questionable personality shift from cult member to narcissist, how uncool it looks to get hit with a kindergarten chair, ball sweat as a superpower, and how one is meant to respond when a tiny man jumps and sits on your face.

They ponder such questions as: Why did Mideon keep an eye in a jar? Just how badly can two wrestlers screw up a double knock out spot? What exactly is a Brakkus? All this, and Gavin gets excited about tool-assisted speed runs!

This is 37?! Try not to record any podcasts on your way to the parking lot! Gavin is joined by comic creator Kyle Starks (Wrestle Heist, Peacemaker Tries Hard, Where Monsters Lie) and they have a lot of rough wrestling to talk about. They watch the lowest-rated matches from Rock Bottom, Starrcade 98, Guilty as Charged 99, Souled Out 99, and Royal Rumble 99. Not only are there technical issues at one point, but Gavin kind of screwed up sending Kyle his assigned matches and put him on the search for a Lex Luger/Wrath match that does not exist. Whoops! Otherwise, the two talk about spray paint cans that may not be spray paint cans, Sabu's neck diaper, and how much it hurts to get punched with a tampon.

We got two guests on this one! Gavin's friend Kelsey Young agrees to watch the worst-rated matches from late-1998 PPVs, but only if she's joined by regular ZOW guest Vinny Murphy of the Rock Nerd Radio Show. Does Kelsey watch wrestling? Yes, for quite some time. Does Kelsey delve into wrestling history? Not so often, meaning she experiences her very first Hulk Hogan match! The bad news is that it's also her very first Ultimate Warrior match. Set your Stevie Rays to stun as these three discuss the dregs of Halloween Havoc 98, November to Remember 98, Survivor Series 98, World War 3 98, and Capital Carnage.

Gavin's longtime internet friend Amy (Taterpie on social media) steps in as we get another edition of "make someone who doesn't watch wrestling watch some bad wrestling." ZOW returns from a holiday break with the MightyGodKing himself Christopher Bird! He and Gavin sit through the worst matches from Spring Stampede 98, Unforgiven 98, Wrestlepalooza, Slamboree 98, and Over the Edge 98, and it does not sit well with them. Discussions include the horror of Hulk Hogan scooting his ass, a baseball bat death trap, and a very important PSA about the Harris Twins. Join in and get confused over the nWo civil war!

It's a devastating week of ZOW as Gavin is joined by Rad Pro Rasslin's Max Smashmaster. The face-painted monster (who is surprisingly chill here) helps discuss the worst-rated matches from In Your House 20: No Way Out of Texas, SuperBrawl VIII, Living Dangerously 98, Uncensored 98, and WrestleMania XIV. If anything, the two spend the hour confused about so many topics. Why were the Quebecers a thing in 1998? What were the lyrics to that Stone Temple Pilots single? Who the hell was Lance Wright? Why would you push someone out of a cage, only to bring them back in ten seconds later? Why were Flash Funk and Steve Blackman of all people in a tag team battle royal together? And most importantly: which one of you is Pumpkin Spice Daddy?!

Gavin's lucky enough to get another guest from the halls of Wrestlecrap, this time in the form of writer Art O'Donnell. The fodder for this episode is the worst matches from November to Remember, In Your House 19: D-Generation X, Starrcade 97, Royal Rumble 98, and Souled Out 98. A lot goes on this week, as we discuss ECW's connection to Taco Bell Godzilla commercials, the comfort of being woken up by Scott Norton, the dramatic sadness of watching Hawk have part of his head shaved off while he foams at the mouth, and the horrifying truth about Larry Zbysko's age in the late-90s. All this, and more!

I promise the background dog barking goes away after a few minutes. It's Thanksgiving week and Gavin brings in his brother Justin Jasper to help him watch some late-97 schlock. This time around, the lowest-rated matches come from One Night Only, Badd Blood: In Your House, Halloween Havoc 97, Survivor Series 97, and World War 3 97. I'm going to level with you, some of these eight-man tag matches were hard to recall, even with notes, and the alcohol involved when watching these might not have helped. Anyway, we're done with the Gang Warz stuff, and that's worth being thankful for.

Wrestler, commentator, and former CHIKARA referee "Top Shelf" Troy Nelson is this week's guest. He and Gavin discuss the worst matches from SummerSlam 97, Road Wild 97, Hardcore Heaven 97, In Your House 17: Ground Zero, and Fall Brawl 97. Of course "worst" is only relative, as two of the matches are pretty good in their own right and one is at least fascinating to watch. Topics include offensive ECW promos, contrasting motorcycle entrances, Scott Norton's amazing feud with Ernest Miller, and Savio Vega's questionable role as the first secret character in WWE video game history.

It's Zeroes of Wrestling with special guest Alex Sharkey, YAAAAAY! They discuss the worst version of the worst rest hold, a match where the two wrestlers have a different idea of how the final spot is supposed to go, and Mongo McMichael's very questionable trash talk.

Gavin's friend Dan Mullooly stops by as ZOW continues through 1997. This time around, it's all about the lowest-rated matches from WrestleMania 13, Spring Stampede 97, ECW Barely Legal, In Your House 14: Revenge of the Taker, and In Your House 15: Cold Day in Hell. Yes, ECW has finally entered the chat, and it's a doozy. Together, the two discuss such topics as how Ahmed Johnson's sudden injury saved WWF, how it's possible to be both a fake Undertaker AND a fake Rick Rude, how far is too far when repeatedly slamming someone's head into an exposed turnbuckle. Whatever the case, one thing is certain: The big Johnson is hard to handle!

FAK! You want to play 21? Well, this week, Gavin's going into the danger zone by sending for the man. And by that, I mean Maffew Gregg of Botchamania. JEEZUS! Together, they go through the worst-rated matches from such shows as Royal Rumble 97, Souled Out 97, In Your House 13: Final Four, SuperBrawl VII, and Uncensored 97. Topics include whether or not spending a week in Alcatraz makes your balls invincible, Randy Savage's most underrated outfit, the bizarre realization that Crush has yet to have a match on ZOW somehow, and the most random-ass trio to ever get a PPV spot in WWF history. Who can withstand the Flash of the Golden Gunn? Presumably, a lot of people.

To celebrate 25 episodes, Gavin has convinced Brighid Kivlehan to be a guest on his show. This is six years after Gavin convinced Brighid to marry him. The husband and wife duo shares a microphone (so sorry about the lack of volume) and talk up the lowest-rated matches from Halloween Havoc 96, Survivor Series 96, World War 3 96, In Your House 12: It's Time, and Starrcade 96. Discussions include why there's a Diesel and a Razor Ramon in both promotions, how one of them looks like a supporting character from an obscure Fox sitcom from the 90s, and whatever the hell was going on with Jeff Jarrett's in-ring attire.

Kevin Ford, the guy behind CHIKARA Special, stops by to help with five very fun matches that are low on the totem pole for their respective PPVs. For this episode, the shows in question are Hog Wild 96, SummerSlam 96, Fall Brawl 96, In Your House 10: Mind Games, and In Your House 11: Buried Alive. Two of the matches here are genuinely good! Gavin and Kevin seemed to get a kick out of them, at least. Otherwise, discussions include the coolest-looking setting for a wrestling match, how the New Rockers were like a Disney cartoon about Christmas elves, and the forgotten unease of seeing the CGI Mind Games logo just randomly pop up.

Imagine actually wanting to be on this show. That's the case for this week's volunteer guest Genericide, who is also the first ZOW guest from across the pond. He and Gavin go through the worst-rated matches from In Your House 8: Beware of Dog, Great American Bash 96, King of the Ring 96, Bash at the Beach 96, and In Your House 9: International Incident. We get a couple matches of big dudes colliding... both of which would have been better a few years earlier. We also get the ZOW debut of Mongo, brightening all of our days.

Granted, for that third one, it's the ONLY match, but that's what makes it so harrowing. Otherwise, Gavin's Ahmed Johnson fandom sees eye-to-eye with Vinny's Jeff Jarrett fandom, Triple H eats like a pig, and Hulk Hogan's kayfabe power level is starting to reach critical.

Hulk Hogan and The Giant are about to do battle in a sumo monster truck match and Gavin needs help talking about it. He doesn't need a partner. He doesn't need a friend. He needs his older BRAH-ther! Geremy Jasper (director of O'Dessa, now on Hulu!) steps into the ring as he and Gavin discuss the lowest-rated matches from In Your House 3: Triple Header, In Your House 4: Great White North, Halloween Havoc 95, Survivor Series 95, and World War 3. This time the guest is Gavin's shoot job coworker Peter McNamara, who was admittedly very nervous when recording. In-between discussions about terrible-looking bearhugs, Peter learns -- against his will -- about the many gimmicks of Ed Leslie, why Lex Luger shows up in two different companies, and why Diesel jumping out of the ring is the most shocking moment in wrestling history.

Hey, look! RD Reynolds from WrestleCrap is here! I know, right? Makes sense, though. If you're going to talk about the worst matches from each PPV, might as well bring in an expert. Their targets this time around are the bottom of the barrel from Uncensored 95, WrestleMania XI, In Your House, Slamboree 95, and Great American Bash 95. Topics include how a one-off clown disguise allowed the Undertaker's Streak to survive, tier-ranking Hacksaw Jim Duggan's skull offense, whether or not Luther Reigns has ever eaten peas, and Gavin gets introduced to his new favorite bad wrestling match. Things start out goofy as hell before grooving into some solid singles matches.
