A Family-Centered Education That Strengthens Bonds and Shapes Worldview | Robert Jackson | Ep. 102

Episode 12

mercredi 17 juillet 2024Duration 27:33

Join Zan Tyler as she welcomes Dr. Robert Jackson to the podcast. Listen in as this family practice physician shares his inspiring journey into medicine, relates his compelling and sometimes funny love story, and reveals how he discovered homeschooling in the Middle East. Robert and Carlotta homeschooled their nine children from kindergarten through high school. They view their home as a sanctuary and a place of learning, love, and laughter for all of their children, including two born with serious medical issues and special needs. The Jacksons focused on developing deep relationships with their children and imparting a biblical worldview to them. Robert says, “When the children got up in the morning and had the very first hour of the day, I wanted them to spend it with me. I had a Bible study with them first thing at breakfast every day for all of their growing up years.”

Rick Green | Passion for Freedom | Episode 006

What a joy to welcome my good friend Rick Green to the Zan Tyler Podcast today! There is no way I can do justice to Rick and everything he is doing in a short welcome. So I will just hit the highlights.

Rick Green is a former Texas State Representative, national speaker, author, and radio host. He & his family travel the nation speaking on America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on our moral, religious, and constitutional heritage. Rick co-hosts the national daily radio program, WallBuilders Live!, with David Barton. Also Rick is a homeschooling father of four. Rick and I share a strong passion for freedom, and we will be discussing that today.

Freedom is explained in the Bible, God gave us how to use freedom, how to treat our neighbors, how to self govern. True freedom comes from following the Creator of freedom. Patriot Academy turns out the best of the best students by encouraging them to be excellent, to do things well, and to honor God with what they are doing in all spheres of life, including legislation.
