Welcome to yet another episode of the "bell horse of the ball" of golf podcasts!  All three amigos are back in studio this week and we're really (no, really) excited about the "other" Mexico Open this weekend! But first, J-Teal gives one last "tease" of the guys' upcoming mini-pod series titled "Miles of Maxwell" as the first episode drops this week (4/27/2022)! The guys then recap the Zurich where alligators--fittingly enough--were prominently displayed down in SEC country, but it was two California kids hoisting the trophy on Sunday as Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele held off the duo of Billy Horschel and Sam Burns.  The guys then talk up the Big 12 Women's Golf Championship from the weekend down at Houston Oaks which, fittingly enough, is not in the city of Houston (suburb of Hockley, TX).  It was the lady Longhorns who won the team title over Baylor and OSU (T2), but it was the Cowgirls' Lianna Bailey who earned top medalist with a score of +2 in tough conditions all weekend long!  The men got started today at Whispering Pines in nearby (relatively) Trinity, TX, but play was called due to stormy weather so they'll have to jam in more golf over the remaining two days of the event! It's bracket season people, and the YSO podcast is ready as the guys make their "Cinderella" picks (sort of, Scott), final foursomes and so much more on this action-packed episode!  First though, the guys recap some "Bedlam Golf" action as both the OSU and OU squads faced off against each other in some desert golf action this past weekend!  OSU came out on top in the Bedlam portion of things, while the OSU men took home the trophy in an absolute boat-race in the N.I.T. out in Tucson with a record-breaking score of -53!!!  Eugenio kept his spring hot streak going as well, as he took home top medalist honors!  The OSU women finished 3rd in the Mountain View Collegiate, just edging out the Sooner ladies who finished in 4th... The guys are back with the first tourney recap pod of 2022!!!  They break down Cam Smith's record-breaking win at the Sentry, the low-low scores that took place all weekend, and just how high that "Kentucky Waterfall" can take the Australian (mega orbit).  John Rahm is still good at golf, -23 over 36 holes is just "ok", and you apparently should buy a plane ticket for your golf clubs so they can sit next to you on the flight, just to be safe... The guys take the show on the road this week as they were fortunate enough to get a "sneak peek" at the new design, routing and renovations at Midwest City's John Conrad Golf Course!  Daniel Mills, the Course Superintendent, walks the guys through all the changes that the design team have put into place at Conrad over the past 6 - 8 months and the guys were absolutely blown away by how the "new" course is starting to take shape!  From the removal of 700 trees, the complete remodel and remake of all 18 greens, and the installation of a 3-hole "pitch & putt" short course, Daniel walks the guys through it all during this special interview pod! Another great interview with Greg Robertson, head coach of the OSU Cowgirl golf program. Coach Robertson reflects back on the Cowgirls National Runner Up finish from last May and then dives deep into the fall season, highlighted by three straight team wins. We then turn our attention to the East Lake Cup in Atlanta reserved for teams that made the "final four" in last year's NCAAs. Coach Robertson is an absolute class act and we thank him for his time!
