Welcome to the 2nd episode of You Betcha She Did where women entrepreneurs and ladies who have paved the way share their wit and wisdom. In today’s episode, Rayna talks with Marian Knopp, a productivity and lifestyle coach about how she found this pathway in life as well as her best productivity tips.

Marian has spent a lot of time teaching others how to be more productive. In particular, Marian discusses the need to adjust your workload based on your daily energy levels and hormones. You can’t have the same type of productivity from day to day based on these cycles, it is actually ridiculous to expect this.  When you adjust and embrace your bodies changing energy levels and hormones, you actually become more productive and less stressed.

84 | Reach More GOALS by Doing LESS02 Apr 202400:10:59

Send us a text

Are you tired of spinning your wheels and feeling like you're getting no closer to your goals? I get it, I've been there too. What if I told you that the key to making progress in your dream life is to let areas of your life drift for a short amount of time?  Whether you're climbing the career ladder, improving your health or taking care of your family, I have some personal insights to help you reach those goals.

Join me to chat about Jillian Johnsrud's 'Lean In, Show Up, Drift' monthly goal-setting method.  This has been a game changer for me and it's all about prioritizing your focus without feeling guilty about letting things drift. Remember Jillian from episode 57 where she dropped some knowledge on financial independence? Well, get ready to dive deeper.

We'll discuss where to focus your energy this month, where to show up, and what to let slide. When you make room for your dreams and goals, you reach them. Trust me, by the end of this, you'll have the tools to make a real impact, not just keep busy.

Your assignment for April, choose what you will:

  1. Lean in on (Really Focus on this Month)
  2. Show up for (It's happening, but not all your energy is here)
  3. Drift (what  will you let go to ensure you have time and energy to complete your most important priority?)

Check out Ep. 57 where Jillian discusses Financial Independence and Living Your Dream Life.

100 | From Periods to Presidency: Generation Alpha's Bold Visions17 Sep 202400:16:54

Send us a text

In this special 100th episode of You Betcha She Did, we dive into the thoughts and aspirations of Wisconsin's Generation Alpha— young women who are poised to shape the future.

As a special side project of the Women's Leadership Conference put on by New Sage Strategies this October, I was able to interview several teenage women leaders from Northeast Wisconsin. In this special episode, they share their dreams, concerns, and inspirations, offering a powerful glimpse into the next generation’s mindset.

Their insights on vulnerability, representation, and future goals are both eye-opening and deeply inspiring, reminding us of the importance of supporting young women in their journey toward leadership and equality.

Here are three key takeaways from this episode:

  1. The Power of Vulnerability
Many young women bravely step outside their comfort zones, discussing stigmatized topics and advocating for important issues. Their courage reminds us that vulnerability is a strength, and by sharing our own stories, we can foster a more open and empowered community.
  2. The Importance of Representation
Concerns about the lack of female leadership were prevalent, highlighting the need for more women in business, government, and STEM fields. This serves as a powerful reminder that when young girls see women in positions of power, it encourages them to pursue their own dreams without limits.
  3. Dreaming Big for the Future
From aspirations of a woman president to the elimination of gender inequality, these young women envision a world of equal opportunities for all. It’s a call to action for us to support the next generation, ensuring they have the tools and encouragement to achieve their bold dreamss

A special Thank You to Vicki Updike, New Sage Strategies, Madison Wilcox, Maggie Johnson, Laurel Golson, Elle Trampe, CoCo Guiou, and Chloe Godlewski for sharing their voices and thoughts for this episode.

99 | Million Dollar Decisions vs. Broke A#$ Decisions - Which Are You Making?20 Aug 202400:23:56

Send us a text

Are you a Broke Boo or a Rich Boo? Do you make Broke A#$ decisions or Million Dollar Decisions? In this episode, I am diving into the genius of Rachel Roger's book aptly titled - We Should All Be Millionaires.

Rodgers argues that society and the media perpetuate stereotypes about women and money that keep women from earning more. She rejects the idea that women need to work harder or live more frugally, and instead suggests that women need to change how they think and feel about money.  When women are millionaires, the world changes for the better. And before you think, there is no way I will ever be a millionaire, think again.

Take a listen as I dive into a few of my top takeaways from Rachel's genius book including helping you discern which type of decisions are guiding your life: Broke A#$ Decisions or Million Dollar Decisions.

How many sleepless nights have you spent worrying about childcare? It's a struggle that Angel Berry, co-founder of the non-profit organization A Million Dreamz, knows all too well. As a single mother, she faced the daunting task of finding affordable, accessible childcare – a challenge that inspired her to revolutionize the industry.

In our recent conversation, Angel and her co-founder Nena Bemis share their innovative approach to childcare. They turn the traditional model on its head, offering flexible scheduling, payment options, and even nighttime care. But their work goes beyond just providing a service. They're making waves in the industry, pushing back against the "benefit cliff" and the childcare crisis that leaves low-income families trapped in a cycle of poverty. By making childcare accessible and affordable, they're not just helping families – they're strengthening entire communities.

But what about the kids? Our guest, a director of an early childhood education center, reminds us that childcare isn't just about babysitting – it's about education. They debunk common misconceptions, highlighting the professionalism and qualifications of their staff. They also underscore the impact of early interactions on a child's language learning and brain development. Tune in and learn why we all need to be advocates for child care!

98 | Shedding Mindsets That No Longer Serve Us as Modern Women06 Aug 202400:26:06

Send us a text

Raise your hand if you have ever felt burn-out and mental exhaustion. If you're raising your hand, you are not alone. I bet most women around the world are raising their hands.

In this episode of You Betcha She Did, I talk with Dr. Jennifer Blossom about the concept of "masking" in leadership, where women often hide behind facades of perfection, unwavering strength, and selflessness. None of these masks are good for you and often lead to burnout and emotional exhaustion.

She explained how these masks, while initially protective, become limiting beliefs that hinder personal and professional growth. We discussed practical steps to unmask and shed these limiting beliefs using the acronym SHED: Self-reflection, Honoring authenticity, Embracing resistance, and Deciding to take control of one's thoughts and actions.
