Episode 11: What Did You Love Before Life Got Busy?
21 Jul 2026
00:17:49
What did you love before life got so busy?
Before the schedules, the responsibilities, and the pressure to be good at everything — what made you feel alive?
In this episode, I’m sharing what happened when I started looking back at the girl I used to be: the sports I walked away from, the opportunities I was too scared to try, the years I couldn’t even answer the question, “What do you do for fun?” — and why starting tennis at 45 changed something in me.
Maybe you don’t need to become a whole new version of yourself.
Maybe you just need to remember yourself.
What did you love? What did you put down? And is there one tiny piece of it you could say yes to again?

When was the last time you didn’t start something because you thought you had to commit to it forever?
In this milestone 10th episode, I share the promise I made to myself before launching this podcast—to record 10 episodes before deciding if podcasting was truly for me. What I discovered wasn’t just a love for podcasting, but a reminder of a lesson that has shaped so many chapters of my life.
I also take you back to a simple Facebook message I sent while living in Germany—a message that led to an unexpected nine-year journey of personal growth, confidence, friendships, and purpose.
In this episode, we’ll talk about:
✨Why you don’t need to know how the story ends before you begin.
✨The difference between being new and failing.
✨Why giving yourself an honest chance matters more than getting it right the first time.
✨How curiosity can lead you to opportunities you never saw coming.
Before you decide something isn’t for you… give it a fair chance.
If this episode encourages you, I’d love for you to leave a review and share it with someone who needs the reminder that they don’t have to commit forever—they just have to be willing to begin.
Keep choosing… Yes to Us. 💗
Episode 9- The Hawaii Story I Wasn't Ready to Tell (The Pink Suit, the Lost Luggage, and the Grief I Didn't See Coming)
07 Jul 2026
00:09:22
In January 2024, I landed in Hawaii for a trip I’d worked years to earn.
There was just one problem.
My luggage didn’t make it.
Or so I thought.
What followed was a Target run, a bright pink suit, a few unexpected outfits, and a story I originally planned to tell years ago.
But looking back, I realize this was never really a story about lost luggage.
A few months later, the company I’d spent a decade building closed its doors. What I thought was grief over a business turned out to be grief over something much deeper: community, purpose, friendships, and a chapter of life I wasn’t ready to let go of.
In this episode, I’m sharing the Hawaii story I wasn’t ready to tell—and the surprising lessons it taught me about grief, identity, healing, and making space for what’s next.
If you’ve ever felt stuck after losing something you loved, this conversation is for you.
Because sometimes we’re not stuck at all.
Sometimes we’re grieving.
And sometimes the next chapter is quietly waiting for us to be ready. 💫
In this episode: ✨ The lost luggage story that became a metaphor for so much more ✨ Why grief isn’t always about what we think it is ✨ The unexpected journey from loss to creating something new ✨ How the Yes to Us podcast, journal, and community began to take shape ✨ Why some chapters aren’t meant to be replaced—they’re meant to be honoured.
💗 Thank you for listening to the Yes to Us podcast. If this episode resonates with you, I’d love for you to share it with a friend and leave a review.

Episode 8: The Person You Choose Shapes Your Life More Than You Realize
30 Jun 2026
00:17:34
What if one decision quietly shaped every part of the life you’re living today?
In this episode, I share the unexpected story of how my husband and I met, the seemingly random decisions that changed the course of our lives, and the lessons we’ve learned after 19 years of marriage.
From moving across the world, raising three children, building businesses and investing in real estate, to navigating career changes, parenting, and now midlife, this conversation is really about something much bigger than marriage. It’s about choosing a life that feels aligned with your values—even when it doesn’t make sense to everyone else.
We talk about: ✨Why the person you choose impacts every area of your life ✨Following your intuition when life takes unexpected turns ✨Building a relationship rooted in friendship, communication, and shared dreams ✨Why date nights and everyday connection matter more than grand gestures ✨Growing together through different seasons of life instead of expecting each other to stay the same ✨Creating a life with intention, flexibility, and purpose
If you’re married, dating, or simply reflecting on the life you’re building, I hope this episode reminds you that the biggest transformations often begin with one small decision—and that love isn’t something you choose just once. It’s something you continue choosing, again and again.
If this episode resonates with you, I’d love it if you’d follow the podcast, leave a review, or share it with someone who might need the reminder today.
Thank you for being here. 💗
Episode 7: "Why Did Nobody Warn Us About This?"
23 Jun 2026
00:12:50
“Why did nobody warn us about this?” 😳
One minute I had perfect vision… the next I’m using my phone flashlight to read restaurant menus while pretending I absolutely do NOT need my prescription readers.
And apparently protein is now a full-time job.
In this episode, we’re talking about: ✨perimenopause ✨body changes ✨brain fog ✨resistance training ✨protein math ✨hormones ✨why my hips suddenly decided to expand in midlife ✨and trying to support our health without turning into full-time nutrition scientists
Honestly, this season can feel overwhelming sometimes — because there's so much to learn and so much information coming at us all at once.
But I also know we’re not meant to figure it out alone.
🎙️ Episode 7 of the Yes to Us podcast is live. Listen through the link in my bio.
So tell me: What changes surprised YOU the most in this phase of life?
And please tell me I’m not the only woman using her flashlight to read menus at dinner. 😂
Episode 6: Stop Waiting for Permission
16 Jun 2026
00:08:51
I recently opened a drawer in my office looking for an old gift certificate.
What I found instead was a pile of unused gift cards, forgotten certificates, old notes, and a reminder of something bigger:
How often we put our lives on hold.
We’ll do it when life slows down.
When work isn’t so busy.
When the kids are older.
When we feel more confident.
When the timing is better.
But what if the permission you’ve been waiting for never comes?
What if you're the one who's supposed to give it to yourself?
This week’s episode is about the things we keep postponing and the small brave steps that help us start moving again.
Because maybe today isn’t about changing your whole life.
Maybe it’s about making the phone call.
Booking the appointment.
Using the gift card.
Taking the first step.
🎙️ Listen to Episode 6: Stop Waiting for Permission
And tell me:
What’s one thing you’ve been putting off that you’re finally ready to do?
Episode 5: The Problem Wasn't Motivation- I Just Didn't Know What I Wanted
09 Jun 2026
00:07:38
In the beginning, I thought I wasn’t good at setting goals.
I thought I needed more motivation.
More discipline.
More focus.
But the truth was much simpler:
I had stopped asking myself what I actually wanted.
And I don’t think I’m alone.
So many women spend years taking care of everyone else that somewhere along the way, they stop dreaming for themselves.
This week’s episode is a conversation about goal setting, dreaming again, and why clarity matters more than motivation.
Because maybe the problem isn’t that you lack motivation.
Maybe you’ve just forgotten to ask yourself:
✨ What do I want now?
🎙️ Listen to Episode 5: The Problem Wasn’t Motivation — I Just Didn’t Know What I Wanted
And when you’re done listening, I’d love to know:
What’s one thing you’d love to experience, create, or do in this next season of your life?
Episode 4: What Your Unused Gift Cards Might Really Mean
02 Jun 2026
00:08:00
🎁 What if your unused gift cards aren’t really about the gift cards?
In this week’s episode, I share a realization that stopped me in my tracks.
I had over $1,000 in spa gift certificates sitting in my office… unused.
And here’s what struck me:
✨ They weren’t things I needed to save up for. ✨ They weren’t things I needed to budget for. ✨ They had already been paid for.
The experience was literally waiting for me.
After sharing this on a previous episode, women started telling me they had unused gift cards too. Spa days. Massages. Pedicures. Blowouts. Birthday gifts. Mother’s Day gifts.
All sitting in a drawer waiting for “someday.”
And it got me thinking…
If the experience has already been paid for, what are we waiting for?
How often do we postpone ourselves?
We save the fancy candle. We save the good dishes. We save the nice purse. We save the gift card.
We tell ourselves we’ll enjoy it later—when life slows down, when everything is done, when we’ve somehow earned it.
But what if later is now?
In this episode, we’re talking about why so many women struggle to receive the care, joy, and experiences already available to them—and why it’s time to stop putting ourselves at the bottom of the list.
Because sometimes the things we’re saving for later aren’t things at all. They’re experiences, joy, and moments meant for us.
So tell me…
Do you have an unused gift card hiding somewhere? 👀
And more importantly… when are you going to use it? ⏰
💗 If this episode resonated with you, share it with a friend who might need this reminder too. And if you’re enjoying the podcast, leaving a review helps more women discover the Yes to Us message.
Episode 3: You Are Allowed to Begin Again- Start Small, Not Perfect
26 May 2026
00:11:57
𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝟯: You Are Allowed to Begin Again — Start Small, Not Perfect
So many women think they’re failing because they “can’t stay consistent.”
But what if the goal was never perfection?
In this episode, I’m talking about: ✨ why starting matters more than being perfect ✨ how small steps completely changed my life ✨the power of accountability and community ✨ learning to come back to yourself without guilt ✨why falling off doesn’t mean you failed
I share the story of how my personal growth journey really began — waking up early with a baby, journaling, moving my body, and slowly starting to feel like ME again.
And honestly? Life got busy. I stopped for a while.
But once you know how it feels to show up for yourself, you always find your way back.
That’s what this episode is about.
Not all-or-nothing. Not perfect routines. Not becoming a whole new person overnight.
If this episode spoke to you, I’d love if you shared it or left a review 💗.
Episode 2: It's Not You- Life Just Got Really Busy (and That Changes Everything)
19 May 2026
00:06:47
I don’t think women today are bad at prioritizing themselves.
I think life has just gotten really, really full.
Between work, kids’ schedules, the invisible mental load, appointments, practices, groceries, school forms, and trying to hold everything together… it’s easy to end up last on your own list.
And somewhere along the way, many of us also learned that taking time for ourselves equals selfish.
In this episode, we’re talking about: ✨ the invisible load women carry ✨ why it feels harder than ever to prioritize yourself ✨ the guilt so many women feel around self-care ✨ why small steps matter more than all-or-nothing change
Because this isn’t about becoming a completely different person overnight.
It’s about slowly starting to feel like YOU again.
And sometimes that starts with one walk. One workout. One journal entry. One hour for yourself without guilt.
If this episode resonates with you, I’d love if you shared it, or left a review 💗
𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝟭: I Waited 18 Months to Start This Podcast — Here’s Why I’m Done Waiting
12 May 2026
00:08:34
This episode is for the woman who knows there’s more for her… but keeps putting herself last.
In this first episode of Yes to Us, I’m sharing: ✨I waited so long to start ✨the mindset shifts that changed me ✨why joy belongs on your calendar too ✨how small steps begin to elevate your life
This is the beginning of a conversation about growth, motherhood, confidence, self-prioritization, and becoming the version of yourself you know is in there.
