This show was highly anticipated because of Shin Min-Ah, but the ladies are having a hard time understanding the dynamic between the two leads. Shin Min-Ah is great, but the character she plays (as of right now) is questionable. It also has been hard to pinpoint where the male lead is coming from. 

Maddie & Christina are more invested in the secondary characters (shout out to Lee Sang-Yu & Han Ji-Hyun!) and back story lines instead of the leads. Are they the only ones? Let us know your thoughts!

Maddie and Christina jump on the mic to gush about Cheer Up because we're halfway through! This ~may~ be Maddie's fav current drama (and might make her top list by the time it's over). This episode includes: lots of SML bashing, frustrations with Jung-woo's SLOWNESS (even though he's Maddie's dream man), and complete adoration for Do Hae-yi because she's our girl!!

Maddie and Elle speculate who the REAL baddie here is, show some appreciation for Jin Jung's quirks, and shout out the (slow moving) but adorable love story.

A KDrama about a CHEER SQUAD at a COLLEGE with GAUDY UNIFORMS and BAE IN-HYUK?!?! Clearly none of this appeals to Maddie. .... PSYCH. Maddie frickin loves this show and so do her two guests for the day: Hayley and Christina! They have been crossing their fingers that this show would not disappoint, and so far it has not. Those first two episodes were total bangers, complete with prophesies, twinkly uniforms, ex-boyfriends, weenie secondary leads, and locked basement scenes that turn up the HEATTTTT.  .... Huge shoutout to Maddie's guests for the day! They had a hard time organizing a recording time because they're total world travelers. Hayley is from England and has been a KDrama fan for 5 years (her first being... OH MY VENUS. The respect.) Christina is from California and is voted most likely to have a cardboard cutout of Rowoon in her closet. Big claps for Maddie's amazing guests!! She couldn't do the pod without them!

After following their daughter's footsteps into KDrama City, Maddie's parents became regular drama watchers and (might I say) real fans at this point. Maddie and her (super amazing gorgeous) sister Jamae jump on the mics for some Song Joong-ki time. They discuss the charm of Park Eun-bin, the adorable Male Lead, and also autism as a whole - Amelia is a Special Education teacher, so Maddie asks her lots of quetions. .... In this review, Maddie and Christina dissect the amazing character development, stunning OST, agree that I-na’s storyline was top-notch, and why they (Christina) love Gwi-Jui so very much. Gwi-Jui carried this show ON HIS BACK. Jang Ki-Yong, you did well, buddy.  

This 12-episode drama kept everyone guessing and wanting more each week. Sadly, this show has ended, but WHAT A WAY TO END, right?

Robot vibes are the best vibes, right? (Especially when the male lead can’t distinguish between a robot and a human.) Maddie and Christina have watched half of I’m Not a Robot and have MANY thoughts. 

The ladies love the leads, but find that everything else not involving them in the drama doesn’t need to be there. The ex-boyfriend is a huge red-flag, Ji-ah needs to advocate more for herself, and Kim Min-kyu with a K should attend a class to help him figure out the difference between robots and humans. 

All jokes aside, the leads are SO likable, and Maddie & Christina are WAITING for them to get together because human Ji-ah is pretty awesome (with her cute short hair, too).

Christina & Elle watched the first two episodes of Miss Night & Day and they like the premise so far! They love the leads (both young & old Mi-Jin) and find the male lead super swoony with all the umbrella-saving he does. The actress Lee Jung-Eun is doing a phenomenal job acting as twenty-eight-year-old woman.

In this Through Two, the ladies talk about how funny this show is, how they have empathy for the female lead, and contemplate on whether or not they will continue watching the drama since a new murder element has been introduced. 

One thing is for certain: Mi-Jin deserves EVERYTHING. PROTECT HER AT ALL COSTS.

Miss Night & Day is a 16-episode drama and is airing on Netflix.

Maddie & Christina binged ‘I’m Not a Robot’ SO FAST and had such a fun time watching this show. It is still questionable how long it took Kim Min-Kyu with a K to figure out that Jin-ah was actually the robot the whole time, but did Maddie & Christina eat it all up? Lovely Runner has ended and everyone is sad. This drama was about a super fan who traveled back in time to save her bias and they ended up falling in love. WHAT MORE CAN YOU WANT FROM A DRAMA? .... The love story of Sol & Sun-jae can’t be beat and it was told so well. This show had everything- romance, time traveling, comedy, emotional levity and lovable characters that made the drama so memorable.  .... Maddie started The Atypical Family and Christina couldn’t be more excited. In this Through Two-Ish, Maddie has watched up to episode 2 and Christina has watched up to episode 6. They talk about the plot and characters, and Maddie predicts what will happen in the later episodes (SHE IS A GREAT GUESSER YOU GUYS).  .... This drama is refreshing and has you hooked until the end of each episode. Gwi-Ju (Shaggytown #2) and Da-Hae have amazing chemistry and you keep second-guessing if Da-Hae is on the good or bad side. Maddie and Christina (barely) made it, yo.  …… They have finished Queen of Tears and have many thoughts; unfortunately, this drama disappointed them. Queen of Tears was a highly anticipated drama with an excellent cast, a well-known writer, and beautiful music. The main couple had strong chemistry but failed to give the viewers the scenes that were deserved. This drama had the potential to shine, but it fell short.  …. In this episode, Maddie and Christina talk about the variety of plots (that were unnecessary) and how they felt that the main couple acted like side characters. ((How did this family not know that everyone around them was pure evil???)) Why was the show 58482 hours long? Slump Doc was a big warm hug that everyone needed. It was one of the healthiest and biggest green flag dramas that has come out recently. (Also, the secondary couple was PERFECT and too cute for words.)

Jeong-woo and Ha-neul’s journey proves that there is always light at the end of the tunnel and that rough patches in life are temporary.
