With a new framework to help you put out content faster, free up time, and build your brand, Annie’s new book, Simple Social Media explains the PAGER method that will help you create more content in less time and avoid burnout. Annie Schiffman is a seasoned social media strategist and the owner of Downstage Media, a company dedicated to guiding businesses through the complexities of social media marketing. With a background that combines storytelling and practical marketing tactics, Annie empowers health and wellness practitioners to develop authentic online presences. Her book, Simple Social Media, distills her expertise into easy-to-follow strategies, making social media accessible to everyone, regardless of their experience level. Annie’s enthusiasm for music and pop culture uniquely shapes her approach, allowing her to connect with audiences in engaging and relatable ways. Timestamps
Annie highlights the often-overlooked strategy of sharing and commenting on others’ posts as a game changer in social media marketing. She emphasizes that dedicating just 15 minutes a day to engage with peers can yield significant results. For health and wellness practitioners, this means celebrating collaborations—like sharing a local chiropractor’s post if you’re a massage therapist. Such gestures not only build community but also enhance visibility. When someone sees their content shared, it fosters goodwill, creating a supportive network that benefits all parties involved. Moreover, engaging with others allows practitioners to showcase their expertise without overt self-promotion. By offering insightful comments on relevant posts, they can position themselves as knowledgeable resources. This two-way engagement enriches their online presence and nurtures relationships, ultimately leading to greater trust and credibility within their niche. Embracing Your Unique Brand VoiceFor health and wellness professionals, standing out in a crowded marketplace hinges on embracing their distinctive brand voice. Annie encourages listeners to identify what makes them unique—be it their passion for music, a sense of humor, or a particular approach to client care. By weaving these elements into their social media content, practitioners can create a cohesive brand identity that resonates with their target audience. Annie highlights that consistency is key. Whether it’s sharing personal anecdotes, using relatable language, or employing humor, these elements should shine through in every interaction. Practitioners are encouraged to think about the vibe they want to convey, ensuring that their social media presence mirrors the welcoming atmosphere of their physical practice. This alignment not only attracts clients but also fosters loyalty, as audiences are drawn to authenticity. Links & Resources

If you’re in the wellness industry and feeling stuck, you know how challenging it can be to design an offer that truly connects with your clients and fuels sustainable growth. Jessica shares her proven strategies for getting out of the hustle and into a flow that not only attracts clients but also scales your business with ease. Listen in as Jessica reveals the essential shifts you need to make your wellness offer stand out, resonate – and practically sell itself! What You’ll Discover in This Episode:
1:21 Introduction of Jessica Miller 3:31 Jessica’s Career Pivot & Discovery of a Common Problem 6:31 Defining the “Hell Yes Offer” Framework 10:01 Mindset Meets Business Strategy 13:01 Key Symptoms of a Weak Offer in Business 17:41 Shifting from Selling Services to Selling Transformations 21:01 Optimizing for Profit & Scaling with a Hell Yes Offer 23:41 Tactical Advice for Wellness Entrepreneurs 25:31 The Practitioner Benefits of a Hell Yes Offer 26:46 How to Connect with Jessica Miller How to Create a “Hell Yes Offer” That Sells Itself (And Sets You Free)In today’s competitive health and wellness space, many practitioners are hustling harder than ever—but still struggling to see the growth they desire. If you’ve ever felt like you’re spinning your wheels, constantly chasing new clients, or simply not excited about your current offers, you’re not alone. In a recent episode of the Worth Your Salt podcast, growth strategist and coach Jessica Miller shared the secret behind transforming your business through what she calls a “Hell Yes Offer”—an irresistible offer that creates momentum, attracts ideal clients, and boosts profits. What Is a Hell Yes Offer?A Hell Yes Offer is more than just a product or service—it’s an offer packed with clarity, energy, and client-centered results. According to Jessica, many entrepreneurs fall into the trap of selling services without anchoring them to the transformation their clients really want. “People are buying your energy. They’re buying the result of the thing you’re selling,” says Jessica. In other words, clients don’t just want a laser treatment or a coaching session; they want glowing skin or a clear path to financial freedom. Your offer needs to speak directly to that desired transformation. Why Most Entrepreneurs Are StuckJessica shared how many capable business owners, especially in the wellness space, are stuck doing “all the things”—posting on social media, networking, refining websites—but still aren’t generating consistent income. The missing link? A compelling offer that is aligned with what they are passionate about AND what their clients truly want. Key symptoms of a weak or misaligned offer include:
Jessica’s approach combines mindset coaching with a solid business framework. Early in her coaching career, she focused on mindset but quickly noticed that clients lacked traction because their offers weren’t binge-worthy. “They were selling something that nobody really wanted,” Jessica explains. “Once we shifted to creating Hell Yes Offers, businesses started to grow quickly and with ease.” This strategy helps practitioners stop pushing generic services and start creating offers that solve specific, high-value problems. Sell the Transformation, Not the ServiceMany wellness businesses focus on selling a list of services, but Jessica recommends leading with outcomes. For example:
By positioning offers around results, you attract more attention, command higher prices, and build stronger client relationships. Optimizing One Offer at a TimeTrying to optimize everything at once often leads to mediocrity and overwhelm. Jessica recommends identifying the single most impactful offer—one that excites you and delivers what your clients crave—and focusing on optimizing that over a 90-day period. “There’s gold in your business already,” Jessica emphasizes. “Many practitioners double their revenue just by optimizing what’s already working instead of constantly chasing new leads.” How a Hell Yes Offer Transforms Your Business (and Life)Jessica’s framework isn’t just about increasing sales—it’s about creating freedom. When your offer becomes the backbone of your business, everything from your marketing to your client fulfillment becomes streamlined. “It sets people free,” Jessica says. “You gain back time, energy, and clarity by focusing on the offer that drives 80% of your results.” Jessica shared a case study of a med spa that optimized a single offer around laser treatments. By repositioning it and refining the backend strategy, the spa tripled client value and simplified operations—all within a few short months. Final Takeaway: Focus, Optimize, and Go All InWhether you’re an early-stage wellness entrepreneur or scaling past the million-dollar mark, Jessica’s advice is clear:
“Go all in,” Jessica concludes. “Pick the thing, commit to it, and go.” Ready to build your own Hell Yes Offer? Start by identifying where your clients are already responding and where you’re making the most impact—then double down on making it irresistible. Resources

| Why Your Website Isn’t Working For You | 17 Aug 2023 | 00:24:32 | |
Do you ever look at your website and just feel like it is kind of “meh”? The information is all there, but it isn’t actually doing what you NEED it to do. Sarah Juliusson, The Website Doula, has helped hundreds of health & wellness pros launch smart, strategic websites that attract dream clients. For practitioners who are just getting started or those who need to reignite their online presence, Sarah explains how the right messaging and design helps your ideal clients recognize you as their perfect fit. You’ll learn:
“Building a new website can feel really vulnerable; we’re putting ourselves out there, people are reading about us at 2 o’clock in the morning and making decisions about whether they want to work with us, and that’s big. It’s hard finding clarity on the services, figuring out the design feel we want, the messaging… all of these different pieces… it’s easy for people to get stuck along the way and I wanted to bring that kind of energy, of collaborative, supportive care to help web design become a different kind of experience.” Links & ResourcesListen to the full episode, here:
| Is Blogging Dead? | Salt Marketing | 10 Aug 2023 | 00:18:00 | |
We hear a lot of entrepreneurs say “I know I should start a blog, but….” I don’t have time, I don’t have the energy, it sounds like too much work, I don’t know what to write about…” and with the huge variety of other content mediums now available, a blog can seem like an endless task for which you might never see the ROI you’re seeking. This led us to ask the question: Is Blogging Dead? Today, Salt Marketing’s Lead Content Strategist Taylor Perry helps guide you in discovering if a blog should play a role in your marketing strategy. You’ll learn:
The digital landscape has evolved over time, and will continue to. Google absolutely loves content, and is constantly crawling websites to see what they are putting out there. New marketing channels and new strategies have emerged, but blogging still holds significant value. It is very much alive and well! This is an excellent way to make sure your brand is getting the visibility it needs to stay relevant and be seen by your target audience. You’ll notice that our own blog posts are going to vary on the word count, and it’s not something we want to obsess over, as long as you’re answering the question or topic that the blog post is about. This is a concept we’ve talked about before and I know we’ll talk about again, but there’s a book called “they ask, you answer” that dives into wondering what your customers are asking. You can educate and empower your clients with open and honest content in the form of blog posts. Sometimes that means you need to provide a lot more information to get to the heart of the question, but sometimes it can be answered rather simply. It will vary from piece to piece, but if you have your clients in mind when you’re crafting this content, I don’t think you need to stress about counting words. | How SEO & AI Are Transforming Small Business | Salt Marketing | 27 Jul 2023 | 00:20:31
Remember when mastering search engine optimization was relatively straightforward? You just needed to create helpful content, target specific keywords, earn backlinks from reputable sources, and voilà, new clients would flock to your website! But times have changed, and now artificial intelligence has taken the stage, impacting everything, including SEO. We’re at starting line of a whole new search engine game, where AI is assisting and focusing intensely on user intent. The exciting part is that this shift is creating fantastic opportunities for small businesses in the health and wellness industry, to thrive if they can adapt and embrace these changes correctly. SEO and Lead Gen Strategist, Chrissy Oliverson is here to guide us through making the most of this evolving landscape. You’ll learn about:
When the concept of SEO first started, it was of course in reaction to learning that Google had robots crawling our website content in an effort to understand which sites were the best sources of information for their searchers. What happened very early on was this quick burst of people trying to cheat the system by doing things like keyword stuffing and other “black hat” practices. But the way AI works, is that the longer it exists, the smarter it gets. The more information you feed it, the information it has to run its calculations and accomplish its task. We are a good 10+ years into Google having their algorithms, and with how vast the internet is, you can only imagine the amount of data being processed and stored these days. All of that data being gathered by Google’s (and other search engines) AI tools is leveraged and used as a way to meet their user’s needs. That is the #1 goal: to meet the needs of the searcher as quickly and precisely as possible. Precision is what it’s all about… being able to precisely target your ideal customer with the right copy, image, video, etc is what everyone is chasing! With the help of AI, health and wellness businesses can now reach a level of personalization that was nearly impossible before. We have so much information at our fingertips, and tools that are only getting smarter by the day… small businesses would do very well to keep their ear to the ground and take advantage of this opportunity. AI can assist health and wellness practitioners in targeting their ideal audience through local search by analyzing local search patterns and user behavior. AI algorithms can identify relevant keywords, phrases, and location-specific information that can improve the visibility of practitioners’ websites in local search results. AI-powered analytics platforms can also give us great insights into the preferences, demographics, and search behaviors of your local audience. And that helps us better understand the target audience, segment them based on various criteria, and tailor our marketing to that understanding.
