Is what we see today really what the church was meant to be? Is church supposed to be about buildings, budgets, programs, and productions? Is this what the early church looked like—and if not, how did we drift so far from the biblical model?

Sadness. Today we will learn from King David who spent a lot of time feeling sad and depressed from life, from sin, from the people who hurt him and from feeling God wasn’t really paying attention.

Doubt. The day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday: Saturday. The day of confusion and doubt. That is the day we live most of our lives in - the days in between how we thought things were supposed to turn out and how they really did turn out.
