Shibari feels like a reunion for me as I’ve done it before in a parallel life, and simply found my way back to it now.
Here are the 5 reasons why this practice feels so nourishing and fulfilling for me. And why I want to share about it:
1. Shibari is a CONNECTION practice: to myself, my Shibari partner, and the rope.
2. It is an exquisite PRESENCE practice. I love how grounding it feels for my body while so transcendental to my soul.
3. Touch and co-regulation. What a gift it is to have a safe and loving space to be touched in a sensual way (and not to only have that through a romantic partner or a lover).
4. Letting Go. It feels so restoring for me to completely let go, as I am in charge most of the time in my business and leadership. I love surrendering to the moment through this beautiful practice.
5. Discovering my new edge. I am a person of extremes 😜I love leaning into my edge and finding a new dynamic balance there.
