911 call leaked by {redacted.} Call was received on the night of August 24, 2021 and made from the vicinity surrounding Pop’s Gasoline and Sundries. Caller remains unidentified. Police were sent to the the approximate GPS coordinates in Palo Verde, CA. No report was filed. The timing of this call is curious to say the least as it was placed 22 miles and 36 minutes away from the initial location of the Blythe incident. Security footage from the area shows what can best be described as a wave of people, trash, and broken street lamps blowing out away from a 2018 Ford Focus.

In this supplemental Wireland Now episode, we follow the money and the philosophy underneath the memes — from Curtis Yarvin, a blogger who got kicked off Reddit so many times he had to invent classical pseudonyms, to Peter Thiel, the PayPal billionaire who wrote "I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible" and then spent two decades building the infrastructure to prove it.

This is the Dark Enlightenment: a movement that argues democracy was always fake, the Enlightenment was a mistake, and what we really need is efficient authoritarian rule by a CEO-king. It sounds like fringe manifesto shit that maybe twelve people read on a blog in 2008. Problem is, those twelve people included the current Vice President of the United States.

We trace the lines from Yarvin's RAGE (Retire All Government Employees) to Musk's DOGE. From Thiel's Palantir — named after Tolkien's instruments of tyranny — to the ImmigrationOS system tracking deportations in real time. From Masayoshi Son standing on a box at a White House podium promising $500 billion he doesn't have, to the data centers rising in Abilene, Texas, where 1,500 construction workers will become 57 permanent jobs while residents can't find housing and the city gave away 85% of property taxes for the next twenty years. Seven gigawatts of planned capacity. Portals to other worlds. They're not building a god — they're building a throne room.
