Ive been observing and following Mother Nature and giving myself full on permission to hibernate and deeply rest! Intuition is such a fascinating topic! Scientifically, we know so little about it!! We hear people say, "follow your gut", "mother's intuition knows best", but our society really doesn't reflect back to us that following our intuition is best. With all this easy online access to outside sources, who needs their intuition for decision making?!And, like so many things, the less you use your intuition the quieter it becomes. So now, for some people, those outside sources ARE actually needed for their basic decision making. This is especially true of women's health care! Reproduction, pregnancy, birth and mothering have been largely taken out of women's hands and put into those considered to be professionals in the care of women and their babies. I'm not too proud to call myself out on the fact that I have a lot rigidity in my opinion of women health care in the medical system, and its this exact reason why I love this conversation with Shonanna so much! Amana is an amazing woman who has SO much love and wisdom to share with the world! Hunting, harvesting and eating meat can be an extremely polarizing topic for people! There are a lot of dogmas, stereotyping,  mis-information and assumptions made around these topics. That's why I called in Rebecca Peters to help me convey the concept of uniting hunters and non-hunters through understanding, compassionate and open conversations. She was once a non-hunter, living in urban paradise. By happenstance she found herself submerged into the hunting world, and was pleasantly surprised what she discovered there! Years later, she's became a passionate advocate for women hunters, wild game recipes, and conservation, all while finding her true self out in nature. This is not your " dad's hunting story". This is an unexpected unique conversation about a women loving animals and nature and how we can do our part to ensure a healthy and secure Earth for our kids, grandkids, great grandkids and so on. One woman's story of finding heart-led parenting and Unschooling of her 4 children, which required a slowl unravel of layers of lifelong conditioning and programming.
