In Pakistan, one in three children is out of school, with Pashtun children facing particularly significant barriers. Challenges such as poverty, corruption, conflict, and traditional views on education create obstacles to access. Despite these difficulties, some communities persevere. Featuring a Pashto translated organic chemistry textbook and three podcast interviews with Dr. Langer, Dr. Emery Brown and Chancellor May, translated from English to Pashto. We aim to support these young adults in their fight for their education. | |||

| The New Student Pharmacist\'s Podcast- A Perspective: Exploring Multi-Factorial Aspects of Quantum Dots- Unveiling Potential Applications? | 12 Dec 2023 | 00:07:38 | |

A Perspective- Exploring Multi-Factorial Aspects of Quantum Dots- Unveiling Potential Applications?
———————————————————————————————————————————-
Introduction
First, in the realm of quantum dots, the gaze has long been fixed upon their size-dependent optical properties. These nanoscopic entities exhibit intriguing behaviors, where larger uniform nanoparticles offer more space for electron waves, consequently influencing their optical characteristics. Conversely, the confinement of subatomic particles within nanoparticles leads to observable quantized effects, significantly impacting their optical manifestations.
Discussion and Inquiry
Second, delving into the foundational principles of quantum chemistry, we often lean on established concepts like Heisenberg\'s uncertainty principle. This principle underscores the profound influence of momentum and position on entities at the quantum scale. Size, in essence, is a mathematical expression of position across a dimension or multiple dimensions.
However, what if we were to extend our analysis beyond the size-induced, and quantized-light dependent optical traits of nanoparticles? What if we were to consider their intrinsic and resultant momentum, and how this could affect their optical and temperature properties?
Might such an approach engender a spectrum of radiation with tuned multi-components? Could we better understand and tune the quantized light absorption of colloidal particles through an analysis of their intrinsic and resultant momenta and how that is affect by quantized light? Could we tailor these findings to meet diverse research and clinical needs and demands?
With these questions raised, this beckons us to venture beyond a conventional focus on position or size as a main parameter to adjust in pursuit of understanding quantum dot applications, phenomena, and behavior.
As scientists, it may serve us well to consider the profound implications of how these nanoparticles (quantum dots), potentially adjust or change their behavior within the context of an input of quantized light, when possessing an intrinsic or resultant momentum.

| The New Student Pharmacist\'s Podcast- Questions of the Month | 19 Nov 2023 | 00:01:09 | |
In this brief episode we explore key questions such as:
1. What if we could use genetic evolution and modifying the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway for more targeted therapy in proteinopathies, for example utilizing directed evolution and protein engineering with ubiquitin or regions of the proteasome complex, to include antisense mRNA for key motifs apart of amyloid precursor protein (APP), PSEN1 or SNCA? Could we better target the histopathological hallmarks associated with Alzheimer’s disease, such as the plaques of amyloid-beta, that are indicated in Alzheimer’s disease progression?
2. What if we could use different modified tRNA, or agents in the protein translation pathway, to facilitate therapy for NDD proteinopathies.
