Episode 276 — Belphastus & the Demon That Learned to Love
Belphastus created a demon to feed on fear, grief, doubt and despair. There is just one problem: the demon has learned to love.
In this episode of Werewolf the Podcast: A Serial (Killer) Drama, the ancient sorcerer Belphastus watches his carefully constructed plan begin to unravel inside the haunted forest of Brotonne.
The villagers are frightened. Their faith is beginning to crack. Father Étienne is struggling to protect his people from a supernatural creature that appears to know their deepest fears and can imitate the voices and appearances of their dead loved ones.
Belphastus expects fear to become hatred, hatred to become violence, and violence to become despair — the emotions that have sustained his supernatural power for thousands of years.
Instead, something completely unexpected happens.
The villagers begin to stand together.
Fear becomes courage.
Faith begins to change.
And Belphastus discovers that his monster is capable of something he never intended to create.
